The Knicks should play Clevland well.....they suck in the back court. If the Knicks play like they have been then they will win. If Brown suddenly changes the gameplan just cuz Lebron is on the otherside the Knicks will lose.

All they gotta do is continue to bench Antonio Davis. Davis played 1 minute against a team that was too perimeter oriented for him. Clevland has Donyell Marshall......basically the same stuff.

If the Knicks play their game they should win.

To the game, we need this one. We need to beat a good team. I wonder how Curry will do against a big center like Z. Hope Frye can shoot over Gooden. Those guys have a good team.

man he's going to kill ariza, woods, Q & Lee. At least they don't have any deadly 3pt shooters. If we shutdown everyone else and our offense continues to click we should win. I'm trying to see who won the matchup last year between Curry and Illgaukus but I can't find last year's game log. Anyone know how Curry does when he plays against Z? Z has slightly better numbers for the year. They're really going to miss Hughes & his 16pts. I'm looking at their roster and they have no one that can pick up scoring.

thanks a lot Jay! doesn't really explain much though since Curry missed so many games. I'm trying to figure out which Cav other than Lebron will hurt us. We struggle with quicker bigs. I think with all the big bodies we have we'll be able to contain Z & Gooden. Without Hughes unless Lebron drops 60 we should win

-dump it down low as the Cavs interior defenders are slow footed or soft (gooden and BIg Z)
-find the open man as often as possible or create good shots...the cavs arent a great defensive team, but they arent horrible either
-take as much time on offense, time of possesion is important because Cleveland is starting snow and d.jones in their backcourt,so the dont really have a point guard that can create, it will all fall on james' hands.

Keys on Defense
-if lebron is hot, let him go off, but......cover his teammates, cant let then go off as well
-Guard the perimeter as they have guys that can shoot the 3ball - D.Jones,Marshall,Sasha,luke jackson, we must contest all shots
-we cant let snow or jones penetrate because a. they arent penetrators and b.our defense will collpase and leave a lot of uncontested shots on the perimeter.

right on. guys like lebron, ray allen, gilbert arenas will get theirs vs our defenders. there are a handful of guys in teh league who can lock them down, bowen and artest and so on. ariza and whoever can do their best to hound lebron into poor shooting, but that's not the concern. everyone else in a cavs uniform has to be locked up. Z could hurt us, and the shooters. the last few seasons we've gotten torched by nobodies and let role players have big games; this year we've done a better job in that department for the most part.

hopefully our energy will win this one for us. defense, rebounding, transition game, teamwork. let's see it, guys
