Reezy playing the two, reezy taking the ball up, reezy driving to the basket (bad shot, good idea!).

His handle is much improved, and he is using it. I don't care about the result just yet as you must try before you execute. Reezy and Lee have shown they can handle the ball ok. Same thing with shooting, Reezy needs to shoot more as does lee. David is much further along the with confidence.

They are running a bit. Lee and Reezy moving the ball up and creating a transition yesterday. Seattle is not a running team so we were albe to do it some, but it was good to see this.

Im not seeing much of a shot from Woods either. I thought this kid would be smoother offensively.

Big James........Yuch! Im rooting for him as he has the moves, but he should have eaten those kids up yesterday.

Sonics not a bad team if they were thicker in the middle. That Radmonov dude can shoot! Dude needs to shave the beard and not look like a terrorist! He ain't selling milk anytime soon!

Some things are easier to improve and can be improved much more than others. I don't think Ariza will ever be a good ball-handler. A lot of it has to do with hand size (which obviously won't change) and strength. Not many players go from bad to good ball-handlers. Small improvement is probably all we can hope for.

First off, that I disagree with 100%. It's not like certain aspects of athleticism that can't be improved no matter how good condition you're in. Ball handling is a skill that can be learned and anyone can do well at, if you put the true effort into it. It's not like Ariza needs to learn anything that Tim Hardaway could do anyway. Driving to the hoop, taking the ball up the court during a fast break, like Latrell Sprewell. And I don't even think it's a skill factor. Yes, it's something he truely needs to work on. But I think it's more of a confidence factor and skill factor combined. Obviously it's something he's been working hard on, b/c he appeared to be taking the ball up the court yesterday with a bit more faith in himself. He needs to continue working on that. If he can, he just added another dimension to his game. It may be small, but it will look that much bigger if he can improve that J of his.

Bonn- he's 20 years old- besides 1 year of college, he's played high school ball and 1 1/2 years of pro ball. I think its ok to give him a bit more time to improve- maybe 2 more years, when he's 22.

I do expect some improvement but can you give some examples of playesr who have shown LARGE improvement in their ball-handling throughout their careers?

Can't tell if you're joking or serious but I never saw him look like a good or even average ball-handler

Ball handling is a learned skill just like everything else. The only reason it's hard to learn is because you have to practice it without shooting the ball and most people don't want to take the time to do that.

None of these guys became Isiah Thomas with the ball but they all showed drastic improvements because they took the time.

Rashard Lewis has no handle and no three point shot when he came in.

You ever notice Latrell never learned to dribble with his left hand?

Trevor Ariza just needs to get lower on his dribble. He brings the ball up REALLY HIGH, and he's 6'9" so when he dribbles up to the bottom of his chest, that's pretty high and easy to bobble or get stolen. Get him to take a little time of the day to dribble with 2 balls, at the same time, real low. Tell me he wont improve and you're on crack A LOT and you're on crack.

If you want to say Ariza can show the same degree of ball-handling improvement as Cliff Robinson and Larry Johnson showed, then we are in complete agreement.

First off, LJ became A VERY good ball handler. Secondly, what is your definition of ball handler? Someone as good as Stephon Marbury? Jason Kidd? Tim Haaaahhdaway?? (One of my favorite players who wasn't on the Knicks btw) Trevor doesn't need to be that good. He's not that type of player and never will be if Larry Brown said himself, just be like Bruce Bowen. All he needs to do is learn to take the ball up with more confidence and drive to the hoop with more confidence, and you have another option for different situations. You have a guy you can give the ball to in case the pg is being covered.

Good ball handling doesn't mean out of this world like Jamal Crawford.
