I still would like a better scorer at the 3.....

But....

Larry Brown is playing his college team now hopefully he comes to his senses and benches Antonio Davis for Frye perminantly.

At any rate.......I just wanna say David Lee should have been the starter at the 3 coming out of the pre-season. He was the teams best player at that position.....and that's what he played mostly especially in the first league they were in.

Ariza is now on the bench where he will have to prove he can dribble and make a lay-up. It's not the D-League like I want but it will do.

NO TRADES!!!!!

Everyone that has been interviewed have hinted or like Ariza....straight up said the team is confused with the line-up changes and don't know what is going on on the court.

The season starts now.......If Brown can stick to his word and truly play the young guys......I truly believe the Knicks will get better.

Watch out for Woods. I'm not telling you to chain up your dogs or anything.....I'm just saying....the guy has been playing well in his little minutes he's out there.....when he gets comfortable he could solidify the 3 spot.

Let Davis and Penny expire.....then try to get another contract to expire next year with Mo Taylors.....

Once again the season start now!!!!

I totally agree. We should play out the season and make a asesstment after the season is over!
NY KNICKS 4 EVER! Will we ever find players like Anthony Mason, Xavier McDaniels, Patrick Ewing again? I hope so.

Would still love to see them try to pick up another draft pick though

This is about the time bonnie makes his daily "use the ending contracts" plea.

Eny, I agree. Im not sold on Qoods yet but being a Reezy fan I am tainted. My hope is Qoods is here to bust Reezy's ass and get a chance to show what he can do.

Lee's passing is so impressive! Funny, but Marbs was still reluctant to pass him the ball at times.

Eny - I watched David Lee on TV as a senior in the high school slam dunk contest. His award-winning move the crowd was a run from the baseline, bouncing the ball high, snapping his jersey over his head and ceremoniously dunking it bare-chested. The place went nuts.

Larry Brown gave everyone an audition. All 15. Even Penny. Starer one day, inactive the next. The NBA pre-season is not long enough to form a team OR make critical long-term decisions on competing against NBA calibre talent. A cat who shines in Summer League can be a bust in regular season and vice versa.

Channing Frye struggled in Summer League and gets player of the week in the reg season. Go figure.

All I'm sayin' is the cream eventually rises to the top.

Don't sleep on Qyntel. He's still getting settled and coached by some of the baset basketball minds in the business. Imagine if JYD was his mentor.

I'd agree largely with this sentiment- except if you could get a ron artest for ending deal (penny), you have to do it, as long as what we're throwing in (ariza, lee or nate?) isn't too much- or if you get rose from toronto and denvers pick, do it.

I agree with enyspree, but I have a question regarding benching AD for frye. is AD okay? does anyone know what his status is, cuase it looked like he really got hurt in that phoenix game. frye will probably wind up starting anyway.

Knowing Brown, he'll probably start Taylor

I think they need a starting SF. I like Lee a lot, but I don't know if he can defend against some of the quicker SFs in the league.

misterearl.....about the pre-season not being enough.

There have already been coaching casualties this season. I guess it was more than enough for some teams.

I'm not digging at you I'm just saying. Brown is a guy that comes in with so much experience. He did come in late but he was here long enough to see what was going on. He was definately here before pre-season. It's his job to get the best players on the court. Dude was starting guys based on their home towns. You got to fire your coach if he is playing games like that. Everyone that knows basketball....in order to win guys have to feel comfortable. The line-ups can't be changing game to game. It took almost 30 regular season games and countless practices to figure that out? I figured out the strengths and weaknesses during the pre-season while sitting at home in my living room.

You know....just the simple fact that Lee is starting now should be more than enough reason to fire Brown. Lee played great in not only summer league but also in pre-season and early on when he played in the regular season. No reason why he has been inactive all this time and then all of a sudden he's a starter (and a savior by the way).

Still you know.....the season starts now man.....everything that should have happened in the begining of the season should happen now because Brown has no choice.

I applaud Isiah for not making any bone head moves and being patient. All the trades are already on the roster. Wood, and Lee are like trades in themselves cuz they haven't played much until now. Jerome James is suspended indefinately and now Butler will get the playing time he earned months ago.

The season starts now.

another thing.......

how can we trust Brown from here on out? Lets say he sticks with a rotation, and settles into a game plan that fits the players he has.....what will happen next year?

I got to believe that Isiah will not make drastic moves just so Brown can have grizzled vets. The Knicks always had a nice nucleus. I think only minor tweaks should be made......after 30 games tweaking should be done now.....but like I said the season just started.....so changes should not be made until the off-season!!!! I hope and pray that is the case.

Well it's obvious teams can't defend Lee either. So the rest of the league should adapt to Lee. In his two starts 13 rebs per game. That should shrink but in a weeks worth of games we'll see.

Fat chicks don't make cupcakes. They buy them, then eat them. Find another bad Isiah analogy.

I would like to find a different piece for Q. I think Q is a bad fit here. Hes more likely to do well in a real open set like Denver runs. Denver needs a big G and we can take Watson--something like

Q-Rich
Trevor +3mm
for
Earl Watson
Vo Leonard
Julius Hodge

that=even $ f $ trade.
