"The way how we played tonight - the continuity, the offense, the defense, was really good," said Marbury, who added 10 assists. "I liked that. I liked that a lot. I like how athletic we were, I like how we could push the ball. We get dunks. David Lee played phenomenal tonight. He was definitely the M.V.P. of the game."

Making your teamates better on the court and off. Way to inspire the youngster Steph!

Sounds to me like Steph wants to push the ball more.

I think that is a good idea considering our personnel.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Hah!

Did you watch the game? At all? Did you see how Nash lowered his should every time he drove? If he wasn't lowering his shoulder, he was travelling. The game was officiated horrible on BOTH ends of the court. Funny how when we played the Lakers and they shot somewhere around 50 FTs and we shot somewhere around 15 FTs it was because we suck, not because the refs sucked. You've let the media get to you my friend. Thank god it won't happen to me, because I'd be miserable for a long long time.

yeah I watched the game. Marbury is the king of lowering his shoulder. Maybe its that big ****ing head that causes it - w=mg.

(80000 kg)(9.8 m/s^2)= ~ 800000 N

One of you college boys taking Phys 201 draw up a Force model and finish this one off. Vectors are forward and down. Steph 's pretty fast so be generous on the velocity.

I don't understand how some players - Nash, Parker & Ginobelli- get away with traveling just about every time- there's just something they must do that hides it.

No no no, Steph does NOT lower his should more than Nash. Not to mention, Nash is a little bitch, so he needs to lower his shoulder unless there's a wide open lane. I'm not trying to hint at Steph being a better player than Nash because obviously, he's not. But to bring the thread back on topic, the people using the refs as an excuse or reason for us winning... well sorry, you're wrong. Like I said, who bitched about the Laker game? No one.

I love how only mods bitch about ***** calls.

Nash is better than Steph b/c he's better than Steph.

End of story.

And Curry was the MVP of the game.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

what if the league does respond to the Suns request for an investigation. Where there is is smoke there is fire.

Like I said, there sure was smoke, and there was fire on BOTH ends of the court. I'm not going to disagree and say the game was officiated completely fair but for people to make it out to be our reason for winning? Thats ridiculous. We flat out outplayed them. To think, if we would have hit ONE more free throw it wouldn't even have gone into one OT.

people, can we all just let it go already. there are games like this EVERY night, where one team feels like it got hosed. it's OK and it's part of the nba.

no need to glorify the suns request. if the nba responds and acknowledges this, then the entire landscape of the league will change as every single losing team will protest. it's not going to happen.

at the end of the day, just be happy we won. i don't understand why we're nitpicking this game b/c it was a much needed victory for us as a team and for us as fans and against a quality opponent. let's move on and concentrate on washington b/c monday's victory means jack if we don't win friday.

just like if they could've hit 1 more 3 pointer.

and we outplayed them for a half- the first half. They in turn outplayed us for a half and 2 OT's

we outlasted them in the 3rd.

So if the first overtime started basically at 0-0, we sent them to a second overtime which also starts at 0-0, then we send them to a third overtime and win... how exactly did they outplay us? I agree they outplayed us in the second half, without a doubt. But I find it hard for one team to outplay another when both OTs end in another tie.

NY took leads in the first and second overtimes. Phoenix down 3 starters and the other 2 with 5 fouls apiece came back both times and tied it.

We had the serious man advantage from about the 6 minute mark in the fourth qtr on and still couldn't win until Nash was literally on his last leg.

on the other hand the Knicks had 2 rookies play the last chunk of minutes and 3 rookies get lots of time.

Man, a win is a win no matter who the team or what their record is. And the claim about the starter being out is a crock - because Phoenix had to foul, ei play against the rules, just to keep UP with the Knicks, and in the end it did not prevail. Having players foul out is not an excuse as to why the other team fell into a win.

so once Diaw KT and Bell were done, you expected the game to go into 1 overtime let alone 3.

to a bad team "a win is a win"
