Nice use of $30 million dollars, eh? This guy makes Clarence Weatherspoon look like a helluva signing by Scott Layden in comparison! How freakin' sad is that? You couldn't trade Jerome James now if you wanted to... this guy makes Jason Collins look like Kareem Abdul Jabbar.

Sorry to come back to say I told you so... but yeah, "I told you so".

Welcome back TMS.

Oh, and including the luxury tax, it's more like $60+ million dollars.

Jerome James could carry the whole franchise on his left buttcheek.

Ive given Isiah praise for moves that didnt even work out as I could see what he was trying to do, even though they didnt work out. Nazr and Timmy for example. In that case we NEEDED a center so he took a shot on a hard worker and a good guy. Nazr had some pretty good games also. No biggie, nice try... but James. My god. I remember people talking about his potential (at 30) and his great series against the Kings against a guy that couldnt move with a sprained knee.

The only difference between JJ on the Knicks and the JJ of the past is that the old JJ would give you a good game every now and then. We havent seen a good 2 minutes, much less good game.

I thought the Mo T trade was dumb, not needed and we would have been better off with the expiring deals of Baker and Moochie, but at least Mo has talent.

JJ is a worthless piece of crap and anyone willing to give him a 5 year deal for the most you can offer shouldnt be running a team.

no one can tell me that Isiah couldn't have gotten better mileage out of that MLE last year if he even bothered to wait a little before rushing into signing JJ

i've loved Isiah's draft picks since he's been our GM, but a few of his trades & FA signings have just been downright horrible... this guy (Jerome James) makes me long for the Antonio Mcdyess days, for crying out loud.

Yeah, it's stupid male postering and the ego to want to be right all the time, instead of just letting sleeping dogs lie and letting things go, since we haven't gotten rid of JJ's contract it's bit early to strut your stuff, at this point in time.

Everyone hear understands IT made a mistake in signing JJ, but what can be done about it is up to IT to make up for this blunder, everyone is entitled to their opinions about being against or supporting this signing, but to be called out on it or to be called idiot's isn't fair to those who are supposed to be in the wrong on this signing off JJ because of current events pretaining to JJ.
If this those who are doing the calling out and bashing were on the other side then maybe they wouldn't like it either, so how about canning the BS and letting this whole thing go, that is what manning up is all about. It's being the Bigger Man by not kicking them when they are down.

sorry, anyone who knows me can tell you i don't posture to be right all the time like some others on this forum... & i never called anyone here an idiot for disagreeing w/me during the offseason when i said the JJ signing was a terrible move by Isiah... but i got plenty of flack on that back then, so sorry if this thread offends you in some odd way... those who were doing the bashing back then on what they called moronic overreaction are suddenly oddly quiet now that JJ's turned out to be a horrible signing.

TMS is an idiot. JJ has been a tremendous signing. Who else on the team could provide us with more examples of hilarity. It's all about the intangibles.

I just hope that people will like me

I've admitted to being wrong including in my evaluation of the JJ signing. We're still waiting for Mr. Know it all fishy to admit to ever being wrong about anything
