Woods, Lee or Ariza have to show they can handle the ball and shoot the three, until they do that they will always be a deficiency
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

It's pretty obvious he can't play the 3 and it's shocking they're trying him at the position.

I agree - I think he has potential, but not at the three.

it also abvious he cant play the 4 spot also soo where should he play then?

the guy is a tweener, just a ball player that rebounds well and is a smart player for most part. the guy has skills, he is young....he can only get better.

Lee has played well at the 4 this season. He's undersized and can't guard the big quick guys, but if he gets stronger, he should be able to. And he gives some of the slower guys fits.

This is the reason why David Lee isn't getting any playing time, yet everyone continues to think that they know more then Larry Brown. Lee isn't quick enough to play the 3 and he's not strong enough to play the 4 which is exactly why he hasn't been playing this year. He's ok in spurts but he's not good enough to get any signifcant minutes this year. Wait till next year with Mr. Lee.

I thought he played very well for a rookie at the 4. That's his best position. No, he can't guard strong 4s like Elton Brand but he can guard the opponent's 2nd unit PF.

Well, we had to see him out there a few times to get it.

I like him better at the 4, but I trust that the coaching staff knows what theyre doing. does that mean lee will learn to shoot 3's?

I think he is fine at the 4 once he gains the muscle back that they had him lose in order to play the 3. like johnny hoops said there's a glut at the 4. another case of the knicks organization mishandling things. With Lee's rebounding skills, if he just puts on muscle he will be a fine PF off the bench who does the dirty work..rebound and dive on the floor for lose balls and make other husle plays

I would rather see Lee at the 3 than AD, Rose, Penny, or Mo T anywhere near the court.

why would we draft him to be a bench player his entire career bonn? he will have to get stronger and he can get faster and quicker too....but my whole point is he can play the 3 and the 4. i dont think he is better at right now either.

HE IS NOT A TWEENER! Mark Aguirre cringed at the mention of that stupid word, when he was interviewed on MSG a couple of weeks ago, he does not believe that Lee is a tweener and does not like hearing that word as a reference to any basketball player including Lee, he said it's an insult.

If you get a solid bench player who plays 20 to 25 mpg with the 30th pick, you've done quite well. I'd bet most 30th picks don't even stay in the league beyond their rookie contracts.

becuase he instictually tries to help his teammates when they get beat off the dibble, and at some point lead the knicks in rebounds per 48 minutes.
