There is a gaping hole in this team, and it is at small forward. Reezy ain't ready, and Q is hurt or simply lost. So for all of you fugazy haters out there, are you happy now? Our team dumped him and we could sure use his 3 point shooting and post ups now. He didn't bring it every night, but even one in two or three games is a lot more than we have now. Even LB said he would be playing lots for this team. If you think we had to have Eddy Curry, maybe we should have given them Penny instead. Lord knows they didn't want Timmy anyhow. Isiah should have given more consideration to the components of that deal.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

I disagee, we need a small forward. Sweetney isn't missed, we have Frye. Sweetney didn't play defense either.

i take kvh before taking tt back. tt is playing the best spot of his career off the bench backing up nocioni. sweetney has a starting position

we don't need TT. when he was as cold as Q is now he gave us nothing. Q hustles on D and hits the boards. not enough, but i see him in the mix a lot more than i ever saw TT. whatever we decide to do with Q, trade him or let him play through his slump, i'd still take him over TT.

TT - would do nothing for this team. The last thing this team needs is another head-case who doesn't know how to play.
Have you noticed he's played 30 minutes total this year - that isn't because he's such a great contributer.

TT back on the team? Are we not suffering enough as fans already? If TT were here...it really might push me over the edge. I can deal with the guys on our current team just cuz they are trying despite a lack of success. Timmy's very talented but he never gave us all he could last year. If he were still here...he would serve a significant role though: would definately take a lot of heat off Marbs and give us someone else to complain about.

This team doesnt miss Tim Thomas. Look at the Bulls, they love him so much they are paying him not to come anywhere near the court. C'mon guys, stop reaching for anything that you can grasp at to blame the Knicks woes on.

We are 7-19. Having a SF who shoots over 40% from 3 isn't going to hurt. Hate or love TT, he could shoot. Q is averaging 7.4 a game and Reezy is averaging 5.2 ppg. Is that adequate production? Q is shooting 31% from 3 and Ariza is shooting 33%. Having a guy who can make 3's would help our offense a whole lot. Sorry for the facts.

A big reason we STANK last year was that Tim Thomas disappeared. He was actually pretty great for us in the playoff run of 03-04, scoring and even rebounding in big games. He was nowhere to be found unil after the trade deadline last year. I think he was averaging like 9ppg on 39% shooting before the trade deadline. After the deadline, Herb started posting him more and he went on a tear and got his shooting numbers up and his ppg up.

Tim Thomas killed us last year and didn't turn it around until it was too late. F that guy.

Not having a good SF has certainly hurt as this year. But newsflash...we'd still suck with Tim Thomas b/c he isn't a good SF. And he's fugazy!

All I am saying is TT is better than what we have. We didn't need Quentin, and everyone who loved Ariza has to admit he has been a major disappointment. The things that were being said about this guy... untradeable, all star of the future. Get real. Go get yourself an outside shot.

I'd rather have a team full of Ariza's than a team full of Tim Thomas'. I think Ariza needs to play more and work on his jumper. He's what? 20? 21 years old? Gimme a break.

Ariza also plays defense, something foreign to Tim Thomas.

Better than what we have isn't saying anything when you have the worst production to begin with. Tim Thomas sucks...he wouldn't add any wins to our roster and we'd have to worry about upgrading him too.

If you gave me a team full of TT's and you had a team full of Ariza's, guess what, you would lose. Your team wouldn't get over 80 points very often.
