No one I'd trade Frye for someone as unstable as Artest.
I think I'd do it.
I just don't like having Frye and Curry together in the frontcourt.
Offense doesn't championships.
Defense does.
That.....or having the best player in the league.
We're probly not gonna have either the rate things are going.
Artest is a ticking time bomb, you have to be just as crazy has he is to wanna include Frye in a trade for Artest, you don't trade an Assest like Frye for an unsure thing like Artest.
The only player I would even think about trading Frye and/or any of the other kids is for Lebron, and we all know that won't happen, so I would then stick with the kids and take my chances with developing Lee/Ariza or Qdog as our SF, until someone like Lewis comes along. The kids have a better upside mentally, physically and not to mention they are alot cheaper than guys like Artest.
Getting rid of bad contracts to shave the salary and developing the kids should be the main focus of this team, not taking anymore chances on player's like Artest or one's who have very bad contracts, I would unload Marbury if I had chance for expiring or two yr contracts and draft picks.
Let Artest infest some other team with his crazy ways!.
I also wanted to add that Curry hasn't been on the court long enough to gain any chemistry with any one including Frye, whether it's on defense or offense, and Frye is still learning he also gets some bad call against him or is put in bad position defensively because someone else( Rose) misses their defensive assignment and Frye is the last line of defense, Frye just tries to defend the basket even when he is not in a good position to make a clean block, so it results in a foul. This has happened many times, so I wouldn't fault Frye so much this whole team is lackadasical on defense which puts the pressure on someone else to do something.
