Wow.

You didn't really think this one through.

Ain't enough touches to go around my friend.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

things are going to take time. Its a pipe dream to get Lewis but getting the two high IQ rookie guards who have skill sets we need -- using the MLE on 23 YO 6-10 Wilcox as the third big is a good way to spend the money

Wilcox or Nene if he has a successful recovery from knee surgery. No reason to wait until the offseaon to make offers for Rashard.

If we could get Rashard without giveing up Frye or Curry, we'd have a tremendously talented young front line. The next step would be to get a starting caliber point guard who could and would distrbute the ball to our front line and play good defense.

we need a third big who can block shots rebound and play both C and PF because its unkown whether cury can stay healthy wilcox has proven through multiple 20-10 games that he can be that guy using your MLE on a 23 year athletic big is a smart play i dont think the clippers will match

i like these two guards from where we are in the draft. Id love to get Rondo or Morrison, but unfortunately Chicago will be making that choice however I think both of these guards will be undervalued and both guys have vERY high basketball IQ good size and sneaky athletiscm

ronald murray is a good LLE because he can start 2 g if needed im not happy with Q @ 2 and my hope would be gansey turning into a Matt Harpring type player from the 2 guard

M Williams will be discounted because of his problem this summer but hes a better version of eric snow in his prime right now, so larry brown will love him.

People just assume that Lewis is willing to reup in NY. I think that many players would stay away from NY because the intensity of the media and here is a new factor, their coach. We go on and on about how Brown doesn't like this guy or this isn't a Brown type of a guy. Well if you look at the quotes a rising number of younger players wouldn't want to play. Ask LBJ what he thinks about Brown. Melo already said his part and said he sympatize with Steph. Amare already voiced his opinion on Brown. We know what AI had to say. I mean I value what Billups but he also took some shots at Brown comparing him to Saunders and how they are now allow to be more creative and that basketball is fun again.

offer crawford nate and trevor for Rashard Lewis [who will opt out on seattle]

I had a dream about this exact trade a few days ago. I thought I would check the computer and see that it happened. It hasn't yet but I am holding out hope. We are one more consistant 18+ ppg scorer away from being tough.

See this is where it all gets murky. Are we looking for an outside threat? One of the many reasons why Marbury is confused right now is that he is being asked to do too many things. Brown wants him to distribute the ball, get back on defense, instruct players where to be, penetrate, dish, score and have less turnovers. Which really sucks for him because he is their best penetrater, passer, and besides Frye their most consistent scorer. So we need to move Marbury and bring in a pg who Brown feel can do all that by himself. Then maybe he will be happy and there would be less hostile environment for this team. I am definately in favor of moving Craw, Nate for Lewis but now you have Q and Marbury as your backcourt. Any other coach would be delighted about this but it doesn't work in Brown's world either. My only fear about Lewis would be 1) he opts out of his deal, 2) the same thing that happen to Q happens to him.

OK so which of these things isn't in the job description? Its about time Steph stops short-changing the organization, his teammates, and the fans.

Thank Davidson for Larry Brown!!!

Speedy Claxton is a FA in the summer. Would make a nice back to Steph and serve as a good insurance policy if we can ever move Marburys bloated contract.

Wilcox will never sign here to be a back-up when he could start for the Nets or a team looking for help up front.

As far as the draft pick (san an's pick) a couple of guys will be available that could have better careers in the NBA than in College

James White (could be a big two guard. He id extremely athletic)
Hassan Adams
Brandon Rush (younger brother of Kareem and Jaron and could be best of bunch.)
Davon Jefferson (small forward from HS)

Hassan Adams underized SG who cant shoot
Brandon Rush has talent needs more years in school
James White-Felipe Lopez redux

devon jefferson? LOL
these are flash type players who rely on their athletiscm in college to do things

Gansey and Williams--smart basketball players with tremendous skill sets two way players good bodies sneaky athletiscm toughness both have skills sets that we desperately need to incorporate into the team. We need guys who spell TEAM players the word TEAM IQ should be on the Knicks draft board. We dont need athletes without skills.

Brigg I agree with this kids but James White and Brandon Rush are guys to stay away from. Those two have character issues and I wouldnt touch either one of them.. I would take a kid like corey Brewer even though he will be a lottery pick when he comes out.

I agree with Briggs that they need toughness and I like Denham Brown and Diaz from Miami. These guys know how to play the game and would be good role players

ive seen everyone of denham's college games. i wouldnt draft him, hes inconsistent, injury prone--same knee problem 3 years running

diaz we already have one short SG who can jump that plays out of control

corey brewer-lottery pick in this draft.

i really like gansey for the low 1 when marcus williams comes back hes going to have a meteroic rise in the draft. i know first hand that jC and staff feel Marcus is the BEST pure basketball player on the team and has put on 10 pounds of muscle offseason to 6-2 210

King1 and briggs

Listen, The knicks have the Spurs pick which will be 27-30. There aren't many good players to pick from so low in the first round. Gansey= Matt Carroll. He too is too small to deal with 2's or 3's for that matter. Williams will be long gone so forget about him. Brown has lead in his sneakers and is as slow as molasses. Diaz is a super athlete but is not a Brown type player. If knicks can get him wouldn't mind.

Okay, I agree with Adams and his attitude problems but he is no smaller than McCants at Minny.

White is a super Athlete and with the 29th pick, Id surely take a shot at him. His game is restricted by the congestion of the collegiate game. I'm not saying he'll turn into a star, but its the 25-29th pick in draft. These are the type of players that are left to pick from.

As far as Rush is concerend, of course it'll be too early for him to come out but that hasn't stop highschoolers and other early entries from comming out. But if he comes out early, I'd snatch him up. If he comes out his junior year, he's a top ten pick easy.
