Well, I was wonering if the pick we gave up instead of David Lee to the Bulls is a top 5 pick, does IT get a free pass on that too?
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

That is all speculation, nobody has any proof that we could have given up Lee instead.

the excuses is built in. they will say eddie curry wouldve been the first pick in the draft--despite in being his 6th year in the league coming up, although the real truth is they used the pick to keep david lee out of it.

any other job, these guys would be fired.

Curry has improved every year and he is only 23, you can't deny that.

He's regressed this year, is still out of shape and has the work ethic of a sloth, you can't deny that.

This draft doesn't look like a good one at all. Whether we keep un sucking or we turn around our season remains to be seen, but we have yet to see if the pick will be as high as people are guessing it will be. Still, the lottery in this year's draft doesn't look good anyway.

And how many threads about firing Isiah because of that draft pick do we really need?

^And this is the beginning Curry's fifth year, not his 6th.

How long did Curry have to take off because of the medical concern? Nice to ignore that.

Curry had all Summer to get in shape. He was clearned. He only didn't play basketball, b/c he was out of a contract and couldn't risk getting injured.

Curry has been dissapointing so far, that's for sure but so has just about every other Knick, other than Channing, and his defense is becoming more and more exposed.

Curry is a fat overweight piece of ****, the guy can score at will inside, never tries to rebound is lazy and never is in shape; the one time he came in shape was during his contract year hes a keeper

So how does he get into basketball shape without playing basketball?

well it hs nothing to do with curry, we swapped those picks to keep david lee, maybe the worst move by a knicks manager in it s history

you think there is btching now--atleast fans on a tem that scks get to enjoy looking over who we can get to get better maybe we win the lottery NY Knick fans dont get that.

my hope is that people stop buying tickets.

How can you say this when we aren't even in the mid point of the season and the draft doesn't look strong at all? Please, thats just drama! Lets at least get half a season played and see how really good is this draft before we jump to conclusions. We are playing like sh!t but we weren't, so something has to be happening and it surely can be worked out. I still think this team is able to turn around their season at least so that the pick isn't that great. We'll see...

do you really think that? Get real. Who wrote that? Berman? Vescey? How do you know the #1's were in regardless and the 2's were included because he wanted to keep Lee?

This is just like Briggs saying there's no Gilbert Arenas Rule in the new CBA, he's inferring from reports without knowing any inside info. Of course, there IS a Gilbert Arenas Rule.

My guess is chicago wanted the unconditional 2k6 pick AND DLee. MAYBE, Isiah gave them the swap picks in 07 option instead of Lee, but the point is we will NEVER KNOW FOR SURE.

Briggs, let this one go, please. You really have no proof, other than the way Marc Berman worded something and he has no command of the English language. Please, let it go. You want to say Zeke gave up too much for Curry, fine. But there's no way you can assume we would have gotten him for any other package.
