I don't know how much I can take...

I might have to end my dependant relationship with the Knicks, as this is seriously damaging my health. I don't see any hope in this team whatsoever this year. Our team with Weatherspoon, Spencer and KT played better than this, or was at least competitive.

Anyone else feel this way?

I don't feel like they will be crap the whole year. It's a rebuilding year, however you like it. Do you want Brown to start AD and Rose? The defensive intensity is definitely up when they play. No? OK, suffer through the young'ins.

I just remember the first half against Detroit, spurts against Phoenix, and others. But Bucks and Orlando was tough to swallow.

I officially hate the media. They said we would win the Atlantic, and I believed them.

I need those tips myself. Really, this team is tough to follow but as a fan you always expect the best before the game, get frustrated big time during the game, criticize the team a lot once they lose again. Thats life as a Knicks fan lately. Maybe I will get tired soon of all this and just stop following him, maybe not. Right now is just tough to be a Knicks fan...

The Knicks looked pretty bad after Bernard King tore up his knee in 1985, which enabled them to get into the Ewing lottery.

the worst stretch I can remember is the 2001-2 team after Camby went down that included the MLK day massacre to the Hornets, something like a 48pt loss.

like who? Dwight Howard who is on his way to being the most dominant big in the league? The Magic have a lot of vets like Hedo, Garrity and Hill. Andrew Bogut didn't do so hot against us, if I recall. If was Michael Redd and Dan Gadz who beat us that night. We're going to take a beating from teams that have played together for a few years. The Magic and Bucks have some new pieces, but also a lot of guys who have played together for a few years.

Yeah, unless we get artest or some trades go down, I think I'm going to stop following the team for a while- this is not healthy. Also, it's not a rebuilding year since we don't have cornerstone players or draft picks (IMO only Frye and the rooks are in for development- curry has been a lazy mofo since his thornwood days)- so all suck from here on out.

Both the Magic and Bucks have had just as much roster overturn as NY, if not more.

Well, I didn't follow bball when I was 4 yrs old, so I wasn't able to experience the 84 Knicks. I know most of those players, but I never saw them play... like I said, this is the worst 21 game stretch that I've witnessed. Possibly will last longer than 21.

I tried to worn everyone in the offseason to not get your hopes up. Every since Isiah traded everything he had for Marbury this team has gone downhill

Look, this isn't Marburys fault, nor is it Larry Browns. We have never ever rebuilded this franchise. We once one the lottery and it was easy to build around Patrick Ewing, but that's all. This is what rebuilding is. It's gonna get real ugly. Tonights game made me want to puke like a guy who drank way too much, but these guys just don't know how to play and that includes Channing. Did you see him and Jamal defending the pick and rolls? They don't know how to do that stuff yet! Maybe that's why it would have been best if Curry and Jamal and Ariza stayed in college for a bit. THEY should have that stuff down patt, but they don't. Frye will learn soon. But it showed that these guys still need to communicate better on the court, meaning they have to get to know eachother more.

And if you're saying this is a worse stretch than the beginning of the Keith Van Horn Season or the Sprewell breaking his pinky season, or any point last season, you are kidding yourself. At least we are starting to show maybe a little promise. Mo T said that the leaders of this team are Davis and Marbury. Maybe that's not such a good thing, knowing full well Marbury isn't a good leader and Davis just stinks now. We need a guy who will take over but can continue to work with his teammates and trust them.

Things are ugly, and they may get uglier, but it's like what I always say: In order to clean a real mess, you have to sometimes make a bigger mess out of it." and that's exactly what's happening right now.

Honestly, I just laugh it off. I laugh at how Dolan must be getting upset and it serves him right. The Knicks are a few pieces away from being a good team. Some players NEED to go, and the young kids have to stay. I didn't go into the season being so high on this team, so it doesn't hurt me like it does to some of you guys. You cannot take this team too seriously. They are rebuilding and this is how it is. We're going to lose and make mistakes before we get better.
