I mean, Curry was unstobbable for most of the game today, but with the guards sucking on offense today, wouldn't it make sense to get him involved? Post him up?
Watching the game today reinforced my opinion that Curry is still all talent and no 'game'. The Clippers adjusted to him in the second half and that was it. He's got two moves: a jump hook and a spin for a dunk or layup. Unfortunately he is not that proficient at those moves, it all depends on whether he is feeling good or if his man simply can't match up physically.
I mean, isn't his shooting supposed to keep good defenders OUT of the paint? Aren't we supposed to get him to the free throw line? I understand he was geting hurt on the defensive end, but Eltan Brand kind of kills everyone if you didn't notice. Wilcox was having his way in the first half, but then he was done. No way he should be getting 4 shots in a big game. Just no way.
What pissed me off the most was Frye didn't get enough burn in the fourth quarter until the situation was desperate. I really think he is the best shooter on the team and that would have spread the floor like you decribed.
Also, why isn't Frye starting? He is the most consistent player on the team!
Another thing that pissed me off is that Ariza got a DNP. His ability to get steals and rebounds could have been very valuable when the Clippers were making their comeback.
I wish LB would stop with the Davis/Rose BS. Screw featuring these guys. So what if we manage to trade them for a marginal player when we end up losing so many games due to their presence that it tanks even the hope of the playoffs?
