Remember how the Admiral used to feed Duncan in the post and he would either score or kick it back to the Admiral for the jumper !!

That is Curry and Frye !!!! I really wish Zeke would coach this team instead of LB !! He could have done it for atleast this year instead of giving a man who pisses his pants 50 mil to buy some gold plated DEPENDS !!!

Weren't Robinson and Duncan premiere defenders? Whatever Curry and Frye are, they aren't that.

Curry, ok, he has no excuses, and hopefully he will improve that with Brown. He was good out there tonight defensively.

But Frye? Come one, forgot he is a rookie? The guy isn't bad on defense, and he will learn a lot this season to play it the right way. That, of course, if Brown isn't afraid to use him with Curry together, like he should...

Frye's not a shotblocker and that's not something you just pick up after you leave college.

Frye is a shotblocker, actually. He's no Duncan, but that's not really saying anything since Duncan is the best PF ever to play the game.

What are you talking about? You may need some sleep because Frye is a shotblocker. He may not be Duncan, but hey, how can you expect him to be in his rookie season? Please!

Dudes, neither of these guys are in Duncan's or Robinson's class. Both were all stars as rookies and were immediately in the top 5 and 10 in the league respectively. True stars from the moment the stepped onto an NBA court.

Frye probably could be competing for an all-star spot if it weren't for Larry

That might be true. But to say he is as anywhere near as good as Duncan or Robinson is a stretch.

Why do you gotta go and disparage either Ren or Stimpy like that?

At least they're a big step up from Nazr Mohammed and Kurt Thomas.

Look at how light the east is at PF/C and how superb Frye's #s are when he gets 30+ min. Tell me why it's inconceivable that he'd be competing for an all-star spot if he got the same playing time most strong ROY candidates get (at least 30 min every night).

Shaq, Ilgauskas, B Wallace, J O Neal, R Wallace, Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh and Okafor (with 39% fg) are all ahead. Ilgauskas should receive more consideration as Cleveland is winning.

So I'm not convinced Channing is competing for all-star spot, depending on what you mean by competing, of course. If by "competing" you mean he won't be on the team, then I agree.

by competing I mean he'd be putting up the 18/8 he had a starter or maybe closer to 21 and 6.5 and we'd probably be a .500 team if he was getting at least 30 min every night. That puts him ahead of many of the players you mentioned.

With 30 mins per game Frye would be the best PF in the east stats wise !!
