Eddie Curry, Jerome James and Quentin Richardson have given us nothing yet somehow some people make the losing out to be Steph's fault. It's Patrick all over again.
I just hope that people will like me

i don't think it's as cut and dry as patrick b/c it's not patrick with the ball in his hands the entire time...but yes, we do jump on steph way too much.

It's the people who can't take criticism themselves who defend and sympathize with other people who are criticized--that's why the steph-lovers are so quick to get angry and call other people names whenever somebody says something bad about Steph.

Steph's not the problem; he's just not the solution.

While he sometimes makes a play that takes my breath away, more often than not I find him a distraction.

The Pistons started slow as well, let Larry do his thing and in a month or so things will be ok.

Patrick was and is respected around the league, Marbury isn't.

I can tell you aren't that old if you made a comment like that. Patrick was admired from afar by some but he wasn't well like by many. For all your ramblings about Marbury, he is actually well liked around the league. Patrick and the NY media were at constant odds. Other from afar believed him to be failure because he never lived up to the hype of being the next Russell. It wasn't until Ewing's retirement year that NY gain a great apprepciation for what he did in his tenture.

So NY media was jaded, who cares? The fact is that Patrick was a great player and a future Hall of Famer who took his team deep into the playoffs on a regular basis. Steph is garbage compared to that.

Let's wait until Larry is done with Steph first. He's the master of pg's and having a guy with Steph's talent can only make us better in the end.

Seeing how you brought up the topic. You were incorrect, and I corrected you. I guess you are saying who cares about what you post? But you hate Steph. Is that what your tantrum was about, sorry.

^I'm saying the media perception is a moot point. You can't compare Patrick to Steph because Patrick's teams consistently won. The criticisms of Steph are far deeper because he's a perennial loser.

I was watching the last games looking at what Steph does and the sequence is always the same:

Creates for others...
Passes the boll to AD/Malik/Ariza/Mo/JJ/Q...
They f..c it up...
Gets frustrated...
Drives to the basket...
Never get calls...
Get frustrated more...
Took over the game...
Stop passing and creating...
Get 25...35 points...
Get tired... Bricked fs's... Missing big shots at the end of the game...
Knicks lose the game...

I think what he need is psychologist.

It is like that for most games. I mean how many open looks did he allow Q to get? I am not the biggest Marbury fan on this forum but I have to admit the guy is doing everything asked of him. I mean he can't help Q shoot the ball. What about Curry? He got him the ball in the paint, and Curry just threw up wild junk. Most of Marbury's assist now come from Frye. AD got the ball right under the rim and it took him 3 tries to convert. Funny how Frye is now the one shooting 3s. All I figure out so far is that Q is no Houston.

Ewing was respected and loved the day New York fans noticed that we weren't better off without him. Up until that point he was treated worse than any superstar of his era.
