Ummmm yeah, does that one play in particular remind anyone of a certain game winning game 6 shot by a certain someone from Chicago, against Utah, in 1998?

Awesome! I was hoping someone would post this clip. Thanks, d!

Silky smooth. Yes, it is Jordanesque... I hope this game was the turning point for him to start playing more consistent, smart basketball. Craw in the second half was simply excellent! So freaking efficient on both sides of the court.

Crawford does that move all the time....he usually bricks the hell out of that shot. He needs to make a variation to that move. Maybe double cross over and drive to the right.....or hesitate and just go right......or hesitate, do a in and out dribble and crossover to the left......his handle is great but not when he does that same move that never (except against a idiot that don't watch film)works.

Gordon is a sucky defender and can't do anything but chuck.....that's why bums like Duhon are starting over him.[:(!

^^Actually he always does that move to drive right and the whole Chicago team knew it. He was forced to switch it up a little.

It we have to be critical, there is extra motion in his arms as he elevates. Rather than a silky smooth shot, he is adjusting as he rises and that will result in bricks more often than not. You will notice he brings his arms slightly down before he begins his shot. But, I think he could have done the "I'm a little teapot" dance rather than shoot and I would still love the clip.

His feet are also not aligned with the basket well. It looks like the pointing to the left because his momentum carried him that way. That will cause a lot of the shots to go off to the left even though this one went in. He adjusted his feet (not just his arms) in mid air. It's a beautiful move when it works but it strikes me as a low percentage shot.

his feet look set to me. Your feet don't HAVE to point to the basket. The point is, by the time the move was over, he was WIIIIDE open and he came to a quick stop, hence, it was a simple set shot afterwards. It was all so quick, but it's a move Jamal can do. A year ago, Jamal would have attempted that move from 28 feet away, the defender just would have backed off and when he picked up his dribble, he would have gone right back up on him, knowing that Craw would have jacked it up, (Which he would). This year, he has a good arsenal from midrange, which is becoming more and more defined each game. If he can keep it up, we will be set at our guard position.

I have no problem with that move. I hate it when he does that then fades away and shoots an airball. That move right there is pretty unstoppable!

Yea that pissed me off a lot last season. He would make that move, get free, and then shoot a fade-away even though there would be no one in front of him.

Jamal has the tools to be a great one-on-one player. With Brown here, I'm hopeful that Craw will use those skills wisely to become the player he can be.

That move should only be used for last second shots--that's called the same crap we saw all last year.

not true. look where he's standing when he starts thte move - then look where he gets to with the move. he used it to get to a closer and better shot. unlike last year, as others just said, when he didn't use it to improve his position on the shot.

I think the bigger issue is that he adjusts the shot on the way up = erratic shooter ("Chucker")

He can get that shot any time he wants, but will not hit it at a steady clip unless he changes his shot (which I don't expect)
