Denver...

Kiki went after him heavily 2 summers ago. Apparently he's still pretty fond of him. He could fill basically the same role for them as he did for Phoenix. And I think Denver is like dead last in every 3-pt. cat.

Thoughts???

Probly something like Q for Watson and a 1st...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Well, it doesnt come close to working under the cap, and Denver would laugh in your face.

But good luck with that!

Nene could be done. They could throw in a player to make it work under the cap.

Well, Q for Watson wouldn't work, Denver has to include someone else, say like for instance Nene, that would work. Unless Denver pays cash and a 1st Round pick, if that is possible.
Otherwise it would be Q for Miller, straight up that would work, but will Kiki pull that one off?. maybe!

Denver Trade Breakdown
Outgoing

Earl Watson
6-1 PG from UCLA
7.7 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 4.5 apg in 22.6 minutes

Nene Hilario
6-11 PF from Brazil (Foreign)
9.6 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.5 apg in 23.9 minutes
Incoming

Quentin Richardson
6-6 SG from DePaul
14.9 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 2.0 apg in 36.0 minutes
Change in team outlook: -2.4 ppg, -1.8 rpg, and -4.0 apg.
New York Trade Breakdown
Outgoing

Quentin Richardson
6-6 SG from DePaul
14.9 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 2.0 apg in 36.0 minutes
Incoming

Earl Watson
6-1 PG from UCLA
7.7 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 4.5 apg in 22.6 minutes

Nene Hilario
6-11 PF from Brazil (Foreign)
9.6 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.5 apg in 23.9 minutes
Change in team outlook: +2.4 ppg, +1.8 rpg, and +4.0 apg.
Successful Scenario
Due to Denver and New York being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Denver and New York had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Trade ID
Every trade made by fans is allocated a unique Trade ID which you can share with friends and fellow basketball fans to allow them to see your trade scenario. The Trade ID for this scenario is 2667396.

Would be thrilled to get Najera; maybe Najera and Watson works. Najera, Duhan, Battier are the type of winning type players we need.

They would be stupid to do a Q for Miller straight up, seeing as how there were rumors of Dre/Nene for Pierce during the summer.

But if they were willing to trade him, I would give up Ariza + Q for Dre.

That would be a pretty solidifying move IMO.

Imagine that starting lineup:

Dre
Starbury
Rose
Frye
Curry

It would have to be Mo taylor for a Najera and Watson trade.

You have the Nuggets giving up assets like candy...

They're not stupid.

Look who started this thread,Bobo, were just trying to make sense if your stupid trade, if you don't like the responses than don't post a thread!.

Your trade would never work without other people being involved it's as simple as that, but I guess you don't even do any homework when you post threads like this check it out on Real GM before you post next time, then maybe things will be different.

Actually real close with the 25% trade offset this year; Q-Rich for Najera & Watson. I think Karl likes Najera so not sure they would do it anyway.

I'd really like to get Najera from the Nuggets. I thought I read a article recently that said Karl wasn't exactly thrilled with Najera. He'd be a excellent defensive addition and would fit very well into Larrys defensive plans.

Miller/Najera for Rose/Richardson works under the cap. I'd sign off on that.

It would be kind of ironic if Isiah, after getting rid of all of Layden's player, traded for a player that Layden had always coveted.

If Q's back is seriously bad, would Denver want to take a chance on him?

Id love to see E Watson here, maddddd PG's. But Najera has three years left. Im not a fan of him coming here and doing bench work for 3 years.

Not sure he'd be doing bench work, I think he'd be our starting 3. He plays good defense, solid outside shooter....good all around player, doesn't do anything great but everything solid.

Uhh.....what trade? All I said was that Denver might be a suitor for Q-Rich.

If you're referring to the Watson thing, I wasn't exactly suggesting a trade, more like the framework for 1.

but I guess you don't even do any homework when you post threads like this

Bad turkey this week?

And trust me...I DO MY HOMEWORK. I know most of the players' salaries in the NBA.

I like the idea of trading q for Watson and najera. Both guys are hard nosed players especially najera. That guy just doesn't stop moving.

But at the same time, malik rose and najera are pretty much the same type of player. Big Nate maybe out of control but he proved that his free spirited play can win yge knicks some big ball games.

So I think it would be in the best interest for the team to just hold on to q and let's are if he can get healthy and show what he really can do.

Q for Najera and Watson makes the most sense. Dre would be great but realistically they only upgrade they're team if they trade earl. I also like Q and Rose for Watson and Nene.....This trade happens to work too...

Q, Jerome James and Ariza for Nene, Watson, and Najera. You can actully sub in lenard for Najera and it works too, which is something I would definately consider if not prefer better to have Voshon off the bench as a shooter.

Curry
Frye
Rose
Crawford
Steph

Watson, Nate, Davis, Lee, Nene, Taylor, Leonard(Najera), Butler, Barnes.
