while that is tempting now, I would have to say no. Miles will forever be the better scorer, but every winning team needs a player like Trevor.

Of course, all of you guys are on crack.

Miles is leaps and bounds ahead of trevor AND we dump Rose on them. That deal is a no brainer and wouldnt happen but if it did, you JUMP at it.

And I am loving how Trevor is playing but you gotta do what you gotta do.

um...the final answer is still hell naw. No matter how much I want Malik gone I can not and will not stand to see Ariza leave. He is the only thing other than Marbs who gave us any sign of life last season and he was only 19. I like Miles but, I want to see Ariza have his best years in a Knick unifrom.

Miles tied his shoes in the lane and was called for three seconds. His head isn't always in the game.

Ariza is better than Darius. He has a better head on his shoulders. He's a warrior, a true competitor. Miles is a paycheck player. No way.

Actually whoever wants to trade Ariza for Miles is on crack, not the other way around.

Ariza is a difference maker, Miles is a slouch and a headcase. Sure if you let Miles have the ball and do whatever with it 20 times a game he will put up better offensive numbers.

But on defense, and of the ball on offense, Ariza is already much better. And passing doesnt evev come close.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I'd do it: a future of Miles, Frye, and Curry in our frontcourt? Hell yeah.

Doesn't even matter if you believe Miles is ahead of Ariza right now. Ariza hasn't really scratched the surface of his potential. Miles has already been in the league ~5 seasons or thereabouts and the thing he has definitively proven is that he's a head case who doesn't get along with or respond to coaches. He's upped his game offensively recently, but not to the point where you can say Ariza can't be that kind of player.

Ariza has already shown himself to have a great attitude, be a hard worker on and off the court and be equal or better the athlete of Darius. Keep him.

I must admit I had a trade Steph rant last week in the midst of that 5 game losing streak. Now that was delusional, but this is pure knick love baby. Trevor was the first pick of the new regime and personally I see him doing a lot of things better than Miles except for ball handling. He steals better, he hustles better and he rebounds better. The only thing Miles got on him is scoring. How about Malik and the Spurs first rounder for Miles. I like that better

There's no way in hell you make that trade. Miles is the better player and just may always be the better player but I could care less. He's a mental case, a malcontent, uncoachable, me first and a loser. Regardless of whether or not Ariza improves he's still a good role player and hustle guy and those types of players are important.

I agree I wouldnt come close to that trade but I disagree with your last statemene.

Your right those players are more important but they are more important to WINNING basketball teams. You need players LIKE Miles(his talent, not him because as I said before I wouldn't touch him becuase of his attitude) to build a team before you go out and go quality role players like Trevor who play well in their roles. You can't build a team around role players, their has to be those 2 top players first.

I'm not saying that they should build around Ariza but if they're ever ready to win, Ariza could be a useful piece off the bench.
