Kirilenko and Deron Williams both left the game tonight with sprained ankles--this has to be win #2 for us.

Memhet's been lighting it up, but hopefully our boys will play with some confidence.

Neither Davis nor Rose can guard Memhet. Frye or Lee have a shot.

Yes, he will be hell on wheels for us to guard. Troy Murphy times two.

Still, with Kirilenko and Williams out we should win. Looks like we're starting to get some breaks, finally.

Lol, true... Even if they play, the Knicks have to build up of their first win and keep playing with aggression and being strong when things get rough (ehmm.. 3rd quarter anyone?). This Knicks team is good and have many weapons both offensively and defensively. But the fact that our best weapons are young players and the fact that we haven't reacted well under pressure has us in this hole. But if this can carry the Knicks into playing aggressively on defense and keeping their composurein the final quarters, we will be fine...

Lee matched up well aginst Troy Murphy. Could he guard Okur???

Will Boozer be back? If not, that mean they'll be without Kirilenko, Deron, Boozer, and Harpring. Then their line up should be:

McLeod/Palacio
Giricek/Owens
Humphries/Devin brown
Okur/
Ostertag/Collins

We gotta kick their butt. pretty good

I want Lee/Frye to guard Okur.

ANOTHER WIN!!!!!

I always worry about Utah even when their starters are out. They play a very good system where it seems like any backup can step in and play just as well as the starters.

Okur has been shooting a lot of jumpers, but also taking guys off the dribble somewhat. Again the knicks front line should be able to beat a team of jumpshooting bigmen..

Actually against a guy like Okur, Rose is a nice matchup defensively. He is def faster then Okur, and Okur doenst post, or rebound, or go inside. So Rose doesnt have to worry about being posted or outrebounded due to his lack of height or hops. He can def stay with Okur of the dribble. This arent Dirk we are talking about here, and ohnestly, Rose is prolly the best guy to guard Dirk on this team, too.

JYD would have been perfect, too bad he retired.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

actually, with a guy like okur, i would put david lee on him. lee did a good job on dirk and okur is nowhere near as athletic as dirk.

Lee is a young, spry JYD who can handle and pass. Definitely the guy most suited to guarding perimeter bigs on this team.

Lee and Frye should be able to work wonders against Memhet. I think this should be a win. I hope we can keep the good vibes rolling.

We're not going to get beat by one player on this road trip unless his name is Kobe.

it would be nice to get a win, get some momentum and head into wednesday's NATIONALLY televised game on a 2 game winning streak and finally turning it around under brown instead of a 1-6 team that's struggling.

Glad to see Scott Layden back in the fold as Jazz assistant! Hes a good behind the scene kinda guy.

Dude is consistant, not saying anyting bad about the knicks when peppered! Taking the high road less traveled always serves everyone better!

Scott LayDown is exactly where he belongs- in Utah!

Now the New & Winproved Knicks can show their stuff while taking it to Utah for all the anguish Knicks fans had to endure during the cancerous LayDown Regime.

I don't care who they have injured, just spank this team, Knicks!!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I'm thinking Curry is going to have some big numbers. I think he should have his way in the paint
