Three points I took away from last nights win.

1: Jamal Crawford has to start and finish games.
2: Quentin Richardson needs to get his stroke back and soon.
3: Malik Rose needs to be on the next American Airlines flight to Siberia. This idiot found a way to foul our opponent from the bench!!! Sitting down he fouled the guy. The referees never even seen that before! Even they were shocked over how stupid this guy is. They had a conference just to joke about it amongst themselves! Everytime we need a big shot Malik Rose takes it... and misses it. Everytime we need a score, this guy finds a way to turn the ball over.
And yet, Brown awards him with more minutes??? All of this while Jackie Butler and Mo Taylor sit on the bench. I am sorry guys but i find that absolutely ridiculous.

IMO, AD starts, but Frye gets as many minutes as his fouls permits.

To me, AD is more than a step slow, and as Phil and others have said, Frye's inside/outside game compliments Curry's inside game, which can only make them both more effective.

Yea and then he will go 0-5 or something silly like that. I hope last nights game was a sign of his shooting stroke coming back. You cant really tell alot from just three shots (thank goodness for those three shots though).

The problem with both Rose and AD is that when they're finishing the game together, this team, which runs through either the low post with Curry or the high post with Frye all night, has no post options. Curry or Frye need to be on the floor at all times for the Knicks. I don't hate alternating them FOR NOW, but they should be learning to play together too.

Truth. But also remember that Frye is most playing against second liners. I'd rather see Frye come off the bench than start against some studs at the 4 and get into quick foul troubl.

Well, they cant play together the WHOLE night. But i think their backups should be Mo Taylor, high post and Jackie Butler, low post. They would compliment each other similarly to Curry Frye.

AD is done. There's a huge fork sticking out of his back and that's why he can't get up and down the court and commits so many lazy fouls.

I totally agree that Rose needs to get on the inactive list ASAP and stay there. What a waste. It's a crime that he plays over Lee and Taylor. I wish a reporter would simply ask LB why this is so. What has Rose shwon him that warrant 27 mins. of PT?

Anyway, I also agree Frye needs to start and stay in the lineup. He can flat-out play. The guy is 6-11 and can score from anywhere inside 20 feet, and can defend and rebound as well. Enuff said.

I still am willing to give LB the benefit of the doubt that he is so meticulous and just wants to be 100% sure about what his rotation should be.

But before too long, let's get a rotation going that features Frye and Ariza playing major mins., and Rose out of the picture. Right now, those are the things that most concern me. I think Crawford/Q/Marbury are being used OK. Q will improve in time.

First of all Rose didn't foul Hart from the bench he only caught the guy so he wouldn't get hurt, then HArt grabbed his arm and held it ther so the referees would call a foul, just because everyone hates Rose doesn't mean he is guilty of every problem this team has, granted I am not crazy about him being on the court, but he did nothing wrong in that
incident with Hart, he was only trying to help him out. I have looked over the replay many times it was clear to me that Hart had a hand in the foul being called on Rose.

AD and Malik Rose CAN'T play TOGETHER, and even less in the final moments, unless you want to lose every game. The Kings almost got the win when they both were playing. With both on the court it is very difficult to score, we won because Crawford made two strange and wonderful shots.

From Denver Post
http://www.denverpost.com/nuggets/ci_3210136

Word is Portland and the New York Knicks are getting close to making a trade that would include Knicks forward Malik Rose, who makes $6.9 million this season. Portland swingman Darius Miles ($7.2 million), a good friend of Knicks guard Quentin Richardson's, or guard Ruben Patterson ($6.3 million), could fiscally work in a trade involving Rose.

I hope this is true. Rose was definetely being showcased last night playing 27 min. He played decent, and Larry made sure to emphasize that Rose can still contribute by complimenting his play during an interview. LOL. I will take Patterson over Rose any day of the week.

Decent?!
If anything, Rose kills his trade value even more every time he's on the court! He makes SO many mistakes!

He played pretty good defense yesterday. See, I don't expect offensive contributions from him...

Davis is really not so bad. We should be thankfull for having one guy that gets some kind of respect from the refs at least lol.

Seriously though, he provides rebounding that we need badly since Curry is not that good at it. He is also a good helpe defender. He is not a shotblocer, but you don't have to be.

My only problem with AD is that he should stop trying to dunk everythin. Just lay it in. He doesnt have the hops to power it in anymore, so he gets rejected way to much on dunk attempts. Just lay it in of glass. You are 37, you dunkin days are over lol.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Hey, I'm no fan of Malik, but you have to admit, aside from the bench technical, at least he played within himself. As long as he NEVER SHOOTS he can help somewhat with tough defense, but 29 minute is WAY too much time for him to be on the court.

Love this game...

Why we lost some close games so far:

Malik Rose's dumb ass shooting jumpshots down the stretch when he is not even the fourth option on the team. Know your role and pass the ball, Malik or better yet hold on while we get your plane ticket ready
