How can you say Krstic is better than Curry? He is just as foul prone as Curry and he has the same problem Curry has. No rebounding.
By looking at stats, wins, and playing time. Also by watching them play. When you boil it all down Krstic comes out very close to Curry.
The differences: Curry is a enormous veteran, albeit a young one. Krstic was a skinny rookie last year, and is the third or fourth option on his team. Yet they have similar foul and rebounding numbers. Curry has slightly better scoring numbers, Krstic has slightly better pasing and shotblocking. I would have to say that Krstic is using what he has much better and unlike Curry, he still looks physically immature. It is very likely Krstic will bulk up, when he does, watch out.
Curry is atleast stronger than him and has a better low post game.
Curry is better in the post because of his size and agility, but he has no 'post game', he runs people over constantly. He really should be an automatic 2 points within a foot of the basket ala Shaq. If he ever learns to control his bulk he can be among the best big men in the league, but will he? On the other hand Krstic is a threat from right underneath the basket out to 18-20 feet. Krstic's offensive game, inside or out, is easily twice as developed as Curry's. All he has to do is keep hitting the weights.
I am not saying that it isn't close. Also, Krstic has had the benefit of playing half a season thus far with Jason Kidd. I think if Curry were with the Nets he might be headed to the all-star game because he wouldn't have to do much but wait to be set up and jam it home.
But that is not how things are so I have to give the edge right now to Krstic.
