we traded all of our draft picks for the next 3 years for mo taylor and the right to keep david lee, we have a 110mm$ payroll, no one wants our sht players, its a rag tag mess, the players are not tough, they dont even seem to care

we really did go from one end of the extreme with laydumb to the other side of the extreme with isiah. there is no way out of this, isiah shot his bullets and he has nothing left--there is no way out here, he overestimated with every big trade. Curry's a good player, but hes not a guy who comes along every 20 years, he couldnt wear Zach randolphs jockstrap in terms of skills and he gets tired at 22 years old

i think it wouldve helped if we had a plan and a budget. joe dumars works with a budget so everything he does is calculated --the knicks work with credit cards the last 5 years with their draft picks and money

i dont want to hear excuses from isiah either--he has spent hundreds of millions and has had every opportunity to do a lot of things, he just catered to the fancy tyope player--and we have no toughness and we lack fundamentals. sweetney and curry are so close anyway, really not much difference, one can dunk harder, one is a better rebounder--neither is great.

hey briggs its only 4 games, shut up man--no, this is putrid and this team doesnt have toughness and it wont evolve.

you have been corrected on this point over 3 times by 3 different posters including myself. yet you continue to spew the same bulls shyt.. it either tells me you are a nut, or you just like posting dooms day post... either way it is lame... I really thought you were better than that.... It is upsetting because you post that same thing, everyone knows it is not true and the mods refuse to lock such threads.... while other threads get locked if they are close to being repetitive..... I dunno...

The entire team played like sheeot tonight. Well, more so in the 2nd half. What the hell happened??

Anyway, lets not get so fickle. This is rebuilding man and this is why people say you can't rebuild in NY. People jump the gun here like no other. But these types of losses will come, and I warned everyone that Portland would be tough for us. It isn't the end of the day. Everyone just played like crap today, and they all deserve to be smacked around. They'll come back and finally win on Friday.

Briggs and George W. Bush have alot in common.

Neither of them will let facts get in the way of their thinking.

if its rebuilding then why is Rose, AD & co logging so many minutes and why are we paying our PG $18mm a year and why were we trying so hard to win meaningless games last year? Like last year we are trying to win now and squeak in the playoffs only to get swept

you can't build in NY, this is a fact, but Isiah Thomas will be the most hated man in NY for putting a winning product on the court, because people will be so used to hating him while we go through the growing pains, that when we start winning, they will still know nothing else but hate...

this isnt real gm hoss. the post had very litle to do with draft picks, but since you are brain farting outloud

A--2006 pick CONVEYED to Chicago with NO restriction
SA pick retricted to 14 and Utah OWNS it if the spurs have a top 5 record, if nOT it becomes very close to unrestricted in 2008
2006 ,2007,2008 2nd round picks all traded

B 2007 Chicago has the right to swap picks. If we get pick 1 in EITHER 2006 or 2007 its chicago's 2nd rounder gone that menas if chicago is picking 24 and we are picking 7, we give them 7 if we get greg oden, we give him to chicago. we could literally get the 1 pick 3 years in a row from 2006-2008 and give them all away.

C_utah--now we either make a payof this year if SA is a top 5 team or we do retain this pick. if we dont, its at the mercy oif very little restriction, and oh by the way its a pretty long time from now anyway.

That's BS. Our best experienced players are castoffs--who nobody wanted or wants now. We need some real ballers who will bring it every night.

it wont for as long as Marbury is our best player and we rely so heavily on Rose & AD and Q & Crawford's brilliant outside 39% shooting

agreed. they are the epitomy of castoffs. We can't rely on rookies to win games this year but we could play them more and live through the growing pains. too bad we gave chicago our lottery pick instead of Lee

Oh please, you were so high on Lee no less then a month ago. I've never seen anyones opinion change so quickly 1 month ago David Lee was the next Larry Bird and the Knicks were winning 46 games in your book. Now your jumping off the bandwagon that quick?

Everyone needs to just chill out!

46? wow I said 38-43! Looking a lot closer to 38 right now. And I acknowledged Lee's terrible shooting man! I know these Marbury posts get to you bro. you'll just have to ignore them because they'll be a lot of them all season
