Mo Taylor + Nate the Great

for

L. Odom

Yes we would have given up our budding young backup PG, and Mo Taylor who contrary to popular opiniion is a solid player,

we are super weak at SF and L. Odom could definitely be the answer. A shooter, ball handler, rebounder and passer.

This probably wouldn't happen but how do guys feel about Odom in general.

Don't worry !! King James will be wearing a Knicks uniform next yr.. HE shall fulfill the SF duties for the NY Knicks for the next 12 yrs..

I don't think LA would take that trade. They have made Odom a cog in their offense as the Point Forward. Every play goes through him. Mo T cannot replace that part of the offense, such that PJax would have to re-design the offense. Odom is untradeable currently. Secondly, NRob and MoT are not enough to get Odom.

The man went bonkers tonight.

Played more minutes than Kobe.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

despite the fact that odom is untouchable, here's what it would realistically take:

Crawford, Frye, Mo

for

Odom + Filler
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Then you can't get Odom...
F.uck him then. I liek him alot, but the future of our franchise rests on Curry and Frye, and Steph isn't going anywhere because tickets must be sold and we must stay competitive. So I guess we cannot get him.

Steph untouchable? You can make a point about young developping player such as Curry and Frye, but if the right trade comes along, Steph is totally 100% expandable, especially with his huge contract and with LB as our coach. Now it's true that it'll be hard for IT to admit that, but I don't agree with Steph being untouchable, actually, everyone could be traded on this team except maybe Curry (still waiting for Frye to show us anything).

Thats how I feel, but it is also based on what I understand MSG's needs as. We would be a lottery team for certain without Steph, and have a worse or similar record to last year. MSG wont allow it. If we keep those 3 players and move others around, we should always be competitive. Thats really my position. The right trade probably isn't gonna come along, in all honesty, so thats why i say that. I am happy with Steph here, and I think as the season progresses, all the haters will be silenced.

both the Knicks and Magic WERE lottery teams last year.....with both those guys.

I'd do that deal. I think the odds are quite slim that Frye would be a better player than Lamar Odom.

I would do Ariza, Frye, and Crawford in a heartbeat.....

Curry/James
Davis/Rose
Odom/Penny
Richardon/
Marbury/Nate

That team is dangerous and better than the Nets and you still have Lee, Nate, Butler for the future, and Pennys expirign contract

I not one for making up silly trades, but why Not!, everyone else is so I propose trading Q, Taylor and Ariza for KG and a draft pick or two. It worked on NBA live 2006 in the Dynasty mode.
Hell, I even traded JJ for Donyell Marshall, but anyways if we were to get someone like Odom it should be for our expiring contracts not the youngun's.
