Air Jordan is #1 overall !! But Iverson is #1-A !!

Those two guys play thru injuries, a strong will to win, play both ends of the court and will put fear in your heart !!
Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!

Mike isn't the toughest by a long shot. He was a punk his first half of his career, getting pushed around by the bad boys.

Isiah Thomas.

Oak and Mason were pretty tough. Oak especially because he jumped into every altercation no matter who it was. Starks had the heart and showed Jordan he was gonna work for his 30pts, lol.

Mark Aguirre was a tough player too. I never forget how Pippen was talking so much **** during the playoffs one year and Mark told him he was gonna kick his ass after the game. Mark sure nuff was outside waiting for his ass in the parking lot!.

Willis Reed. Easily. He beat up the entire Lakers team one night.

that was one of the greatest nights ever. sent their entire bench running away. it's true.

Nope. His toughness gets divided by too many pounds.

Wilt Chamberlain-hands down. As a young man I had a friend who was the nephew of then NBA Commisssioner Maurice Podoloff. I thought the world of Willis Reed. The friend then told me of an early encounter between Reed and Wilt. Wilt was virtually unstoppable (even by Russell) and was being played tough by Reed who was tugging at Wilt's shorts-Wilt finally turned to Willis glared at him and basically said that Reed was going to play the game looking up from the floor if ever did that again. He never did. If someone as rough and tumble and gritty as Reed could be handled by Wilt with mere words, I believe it says something anout the toughness of the the"Stilt"

great wilt story. here's another one i loved. when pete maravich and herm gilliam played for the hawks, they used to taunt wilt. they'd dribble the basketball and face directly toward him and say in a flip wilson "geraldine" voice (high-pitched taunting woman's voice), "you can't guard me wilt chamberlain. you cannot guard me. come on out here wilt chameralin. come on out here and try to get this ball wilt chamberlain." he'd apparently go nuts, steaming at the ears, and finally try to get them, and they'd drive past him or pass to his man! but if had ever grabbed them . . .

Gus Johnson, MIke Riordan, John Havelechek, Dave Cowens, Denis ROdman, Oak, Phil Ford (Kansas City Days).

No 1. alltime was 4 years at Duke Bobby Hurley. Greatest Point guard in college history. 2 tittles, 3 trips to final four! Understand, not the greatest to ever play, but the greatest leadership and getting the job done player. Dude would play all 40 min. and not break a sweat! That boy was an animal! A shame his pro career was so short.

Pound for pound... no doubt, toughest is Mugsy Bogues (he weighs the least). ;)
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
