Who's your favorite player coming into the season on the Knicks? We've all heard people complain and defend certain players on the roster, but who's the player you identify most with?

For me, it Jerome Jam...

ok, couldn't even get it all out.

Crawford for me. I was ecstatic when we got him last summer. Last season, I was still in his corner but definitely understood why everyone was down on him. He was a chucker last year. But he's the kind of player I love to watch if I watch a game up close. He's got a completely individual style and unlimited untapped potential. The thing about his potential is that it isn't some abstract notion of potential. It's not just that he's tall, or big, or athletic. His potential is very real and at times, manifests itself for an extended period of time.

He can take his man off the dribble anytime, he has unlimited range, can hit the deep three, the floater, the mid range, the fade away. His passing instincts are extremely high and his humble attitude is a refreshing change from the ego stars out there. He also has the onions to take and make the last second shot. He has the tools to be a good in not great defender in the Hughes model.

The thing about Crawford is that his potential needs to be focused. LB is perfect for him. If nothing else this season, I will take supreme joy in watching a player with so much joy and talent for the game mature into an "earl the pearl" of the 21st century.

Hard to say, the last Knick I was really crazy about was Spree and we all know how that turned out... I think most people either love or hate Marbury based on his attitude (which I don't like). As for the other players, that's hard to tell cause they haven't been Knicks for long...

It's hard to root for the players these days since they're most likely to pack their bags within a year or two, so I just root for the Knicks as a whole. That said, my favourite players are Q, Ariza and Curry.

Frye, he seems to well represent the future of this franchise. I don't see this kid messing around. I like what he did after leaving Arizona. i like the fact that he did what Olsen asked him to do for the Kats. I like how he worked on his game and body even after getting drafted. His mannerism reminds me of Houston. (Isiah did a great job in drafting guys with nice character traits).
BTW, I think is game and ability will allow him to do things that he wasn't allowed to do at Arizona. The guy has an inside/outside game. He said he is working on his rebounding and positioning (he knows weaknesses and wants to work on them, what a strange concept).

I guess right now, of Knick players, I'd have to say Reezy.

In the entire league, I'd say AK47.

I like Marbs and am rooting for him, but I just can't identify with him. It's like how I love Miles Davis but have absolutely no idea where he was coming from.

All-Time I LOVED Ewing, Harper and LJ in that order. Houston was my favorite presently, and now it's prolly, Marbs (even though I think he may be the odd man out), Q, Lee

LONG LIVE EDDY CURRY!!

"Why don't they leave this kid alone and let him get on with his career?'' Grover said. "All the doctors except one have cleared Eddy to resume his career.''

Chalk up another for Trevor.
NY: 1)Ariza, 2)Marbury, 3) Tie between Nate the great...and Jackie Butler!
Favorites in the league: Ariza, Artest, Brand, Odom, Ginobili, and keeping an eye on Chris Paul.

I think this franchise will go the way that Eddy Curry goes.
If his star rises, we have great things coming our way.
If not, we wallow in mediocrity for another long while.

Not so sure about Frye as you others seem to be. He'll have
to prove it to me.

And while far from a franchise player, I think Lee will be something
special for this organization. Something like an Anthony Mason.
A little bummed that he's starting on the inactive list, but I have faith.

My favorite is Frye, and all time favorites are tied between Allan Houston and Patrick Ewing.

Perhaps you were too lazy to ready the next few words of my every so long and tiring post.

Only the best .
I just find myself rooting for Jackie to make it into the game more so than most of the roster. Hoping we can finally lock him up for something like a 3-4 year deal, $5M

i was always partial to big men so i would like to say curry. but marbury is the best player we have had since ewing. he is quick with nice handle and good court vision. i love point guard play and he is the best point guard we have had since jax/strickland.

I think marbury is alot better talent then people give him credit for so it's alway easy to root for the underdog, But i have a special spot for curry, crawford and Odam. I like these player game alot and have followed there career for awhile, but on the knicks I'd have to say Curry is the biggest under dog right now. (heart, rebounding and height)

I think I'm going to be a Lee fan, if he ends up being the official floor-burn guy, Love the cats who do the dirty work and enjoy it - like Oak...
