im sure there will be games where he will make some shots and do some things, but Pachulia Hunter or even Diop were all better choices. Pachulia is playing like an all star--Hunter has been playing well-had 23 points 7 reb yesterday even diop has been impressive---dont mess with 30 old players with weight problems--thats OUR 30mm$ lesson

iT has done some good things yet, in all fairness,he has laid a bomb in many other areas over doing it, mainly with EXPENSIVE vets.

ya....it's not even the average that bothers me...it's the length of his contract.

it's absurd.

i mean...he may or may not improve during the season, but he doesn't even look hungry...like he's TRYING....he doesn't look enthusiastic, or aggressive.

And frankly...he's not even playing that big.

Maybe he needs a cookie clause in his contract or something.

I think he's the same way as Dampier. Someone needs to call this guy out in the press in order to light a fire under his ass...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I think he's thinking about doing everything right for LB right now--the X's and O's--once he gets used to his new role I know we will see more aggressiveness and confidence in his play. I'm still holding out hope for JJ, at least until after the first few months of the season.

he was getting up and down the court alot better tonight. He just hasn't been effective in the post. He doesn't fight enough for position and settles for that turnaround like he thinks its 'money' or something.

He's a backup, I think he'll be fine for us.

Maybe James doesn't get in to shape finally until the playoffs. Seattle finally made the playoffs last year. Go figure.

I'm pretty much done crying about it. I have said my piece and then some. Just think back before we had Curry though. This guy was signed to be our STARTING center. Remember? We *NEEDED* a center? Where's RV? But I was the one that didnt get it.

Oh well... I hope and assume he will have his 15-20 games where his size is a real impact and possibly helps us win some games, much like when we had Deke.

What, Weatherspoon wasn't enough of a lesson? We had to do it again?

Seriously though, as a backup, James is fine. He is just overpaid. But that is what the Knicks do. And for that matter, all NY teams do. They overpay for talent.

I am almost positive that if IT knew that he had Curry, he would have made a different move.

Good thing Big Lame is not needed to be our starting Center.

Maybe that is what stings a bit that this piece of dung was expected to STEP UP and start.

If true, the pre Curry HATING by the media was well deserved.

Without Curry, we'd be in a heap of trouble short term.

after seeing james, I hate this guy, I think Diop would have been a much cheaper and much better option... End of story...

James is really not playing Big Game right now. He looks three steps too slow out there. He needs antoher training camp before the season starts

First off IT went after Diop but he chose to sign elsewhere.

As far as James goes, he's our back up center guys. There aren't too many back up centers that I would rather have. Sure he's overpaid to be a back up but at the time we had no other big man and he was deemed necessary. Of course in retrospect it doesn't look like the best move with Curry in place. But he is on our team, we probably won't be able to move him and if he can give us 10-15 solid minutes a night, especially when he's banging up against Shaq, then I'll take it. He will be an important piece to our team.
"It was good," Curry said. "I killed Malik, Jerome. The usual suspects. It felt good."

Stop the BLOODCLOT CRYING. Let the season start first before you start dumping on players. Sheesh...some of you guys are terrible. We got at what? 6 mil per? By the time we're ready to make our next move with with the MLE might be 6 mil. He has a moveable contract. If he doesn't pan out, we'll ship him out, but let him play first. Let's see what he contributes or doesn't contribute...dang...

Doesn't sound like you're done. Sounds like you have a lot of bitching left to do and are permanently scarred

Well said. How much did the Knicks give Chris Dudley again? Like $28 Million or so over 5 years
