building a team with Brown as coach is now about brining in guys with high basketball IQ and those who are willing to sacrifice their game for the team. This is plain and simple to see. D Miles is a joke in that sense.

I would say a Ronald Dupree would be better than Darius Miles at this point,

all we would have to do is clear a spot for him, i like Barnes and we should keep him, i would try to trade or offer Penny a buyout to get a roster spot for Dupree, but that is if he is waived by the pistons.

And i don't really think we need a starting SF, we have 3
Trevor Air RiZa
Matt Barnes
and David Lee

the only knock on Ariza and Lee is that they don't have a good consistent jump shot, which is something that Miles has to and is working on himself.

I was expecting to see AriZa to get MIP, like Bobby Simmons, but in preseason he hasn't shot the ball much, i can't wait for him to get a good jump shot in his game and watch out.

well he is not Lamadr Odom, Miles issues has been inconsistency, he has been working on his jump shot, like last year when he hit like 8 or 9 shots in a row, even over Kurt Thomas

if we can get miles and only part with rose, MoT or Penny, then I'm all for him, everyone else on our roster is untradeable as far as I'm concerned.

Well then. Lets trade Malik Rose and Quentin Richardson for Darius Miles and Ruben Patterson. Do we really need Q then? If we want a starting Small Forward than what, have Q come off the bench? I dont get it. Is Q then a bench player for the next 6 years?

So if we're looking for a starting Small Forward lets get rid of our "starting" Small Forward.

I still feel Trevor Ariza and Darius Miles have very similar games. If we trade for Miles, Ariza will by no means develop.

Larry Brown said he wants to use Q as a 2 guard not a small forward, thus the need to acquire a small forward.

I think the knicks should go after darius miles as long as they dont have to give up anything major becuase it's risky to start barnes or trevor cuase of their inexperience and limited offensive abilities. even brown admitted to it.

Darius Miles is not a bad kid. He is a young kid that is starting to mature and has a chance to be a really good player. I would love to see him in knick uniform and he would do what Larry Brown asks of him

miles seems to have an attitude problem.

Crawf needs to come off the bench. That way he has the green light for the second unit. Look how he was killin them last game with the second unit. Until Q gets better, Crawf will have to start. That's why I think LB will start Barnes at the 3 instead of Ariza. That way Ariza could come off the bench at the 2 or 3. I just hope Penny doesn't come off the bench. He needs to be wearing a sports coat every night.
