Have you demoted Curry's height? Otherwise it looks reasonable. I want to dump some extra veteran PF's.

btw, I'm not sure what their gonna do with Davis, but there's no reason to have Rose, Davis and Taylor, especially when Frye, Lee and Butler are keepers.

I'm not sure there's another NBA team that starts a small forward who isn't a threat from three even unguarded. I think that would give them problems at some point. Reddick has to be their target in the draft next year becuase of that. This team has more perimeter players for that matter who can't shoot threes than any I've ever seen. Q had better stay heathy and keep gunning from deep.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I like that rotation a lot Briggs. I am not sure if Frye is quite ready to start, same with Ariza, but in the long run it should work great. Everyone compliments eachother, and Ariza can be the defensive catylist. Watching this game, I really liked how Crawford and Nate worked together and even Barber too. I wouldn't mind seeing the team keep him too, even if it were just for injury reserve.

One thing is for sure though, having Taylor, Penny and Rose out there isn't going to cut it anymore. Rose works his ars off, as does Penny, but Rose is just too short and not athletic enough, and Penny is just completely shot now. Taylor just isn't in shape, and hence, isn't that good right now. Frye and Lee have been flat out impressive in my eyes though. Barnes is good too.

I reaqlly hope Barnes makes the team. He is def better then all the dead weight we carry on right now in several of our vets.

I liked his game back in Sactown, and he has been great in preseason so far. The guy is very long for a 6 7 guy, strong, plays great D, and is very athletic. This is the kind of guys you stock your bench with if plan on even being a real team, and not a tarveling freak show we have been for the past few years with guys coming off of career injuries, heart surgeries, etc.

I would sure be mad if Brewer got a spot over Barnes. I hope he gets cut soon, cause it arent like we need a pg who can't play, or a pg at all actually. Consdiering Butler is prolly going to the NBDL, and Brewer and Barber should get cut, I think there is a spot for Barnes on the team, and in the rotation, you know, right where Penny would have been if he actually had any kind of game left.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Has Frye grown? He measured officially 6'10.5" with shoes on in pre-draft camp

Thats a very good rotation that may see the light at some point in the middle of the season, when Brown finally accepts the fact that his rookies play better basketball than some of his vets. Lee is really a Brown-type of player and I can't imagine him not getting significant minutes at some point during the season. Same with Frye that I think that at some point he may even start for Brown. Same story with Ariza, and what a player Isiah found at the end of the draft! At some point he will start.

Oh, and one thing about Ariza that no one has mentioned: did you guys noticed that he had a great game on a back-to-back? Last season it was his cryptonite, he would have a great game and the following night he would just not be there. He played great this second night, and thats a great sign that this season he may indeed be ready to start...

Frye is definitely ready to start in this league...But, I am hoping that Davis either retires or returns to Chicago....It would be a shame not to have Frye in the starting lineup. The kid is long enough and definitely is more ready than both Mo and Rose...

AD will probably not play for us at this point, which isn't bad because I want us to keep Barnes...

A.D. in NYC: Knicks president Isiah Thomas told the New York media he expects former Bulls power forward Antonio Davis to join the Knicks today.

Davis, who went to New York in the Eddy Curry trade, spent one day at the Knicks’ camp in Charleston, S.C., after the trade, then returned home to Naperville to be with his ailing mother-in-law.

It’s still possible Davis and the Knicks will agree to a buyout of his $13.8 million contract so he can re-sign with the Bulls. Davis would be free to join the Bulls 20 days after the trade was completed Oct. 7.

I like that lineup a lot. I also think Lee might start over Frye. I like Q in the starting lineup more than Crawford because for 1) he is our best 3pt shooter and he will compliment Curry 2) Crawford and Marbury have no chemistry

SOLD! I'd take Frye and Curry and Ariza as our frontcourt in a hot second!

Well, now that Allan has retired, maybe Barnes will make the team.

If we keep Davis then I still think he should make it over someone like Brewer.

Of our inactive players send Butler to the NBDL and leave Davis (if he still doesn't want to play) & Barnes on the regular inactive list.

You know Isiah and Brown are not gonna put Penny on the inactive list, nor Mo', nor Rose, unless something is really wrong with them.

Rose will make the rotation, you can BANK on that, because of his defensive intensity.
