He isnt getting traded to anyone. I still think the trade will go through in the end. Lee is the best rebounder on your team. He had a great summer league playing a position he has never played and he is faring well in the scrimmages with the vets. A lot of people on this board viewed him as a throw in at 30. He will surprise a lot of people with his skill and athleticism this year.

my biggest question is whether Lee is a 3 or a 4. And can he develop an outside shot to be a 3 in the NBA.

i think sweetney is likely the best rebounder by far on this team, that being said chicago is stupid to walk away from tt sweetney 1+2 draft picks for a guy they wont even play.

Timmy, Sweets and 2 draft picks is alot to give just to only be getting Curry. So what will Curry get 20 mill a season?

Curry's skill level and potential is worth about 8-10 mill. We don't wanna screw the market up by giving Eddy Curry a franchise contract like we gave Houston.

Still all this trouble is worth it. Curry looks unstoppable on offense at times....but in the same amount of times he looks like he has no clue.

Timmy, Sweets, 2 first rounders for Curry and who? Even if Ariza or Lee is put in place of the draft picks....the Knicks are gonna need som compensation. Curry alone is not a good deal for the Knicks.

We blast TT for getting 5 rebs a game, and thats Cream of Currys avg?
That is a major concern. Im sure "AGWIRE" will work his magic, but didn't the bulls have coaching? ANd why didn't he respond? Will his condition even diagnosed still hinder him? Does "AGWIRES" magic dust work on him?

I hate to sweets go, but I understand, TT can rot all I care, but we must draw the line at LEE and Reezy! Its important we be paitent with these young guys. I understand Curry is young, but his upside is limited to the extent he can still walk this earth.

I hope this kid has some Moses malone in him!

I hope we don't lose Lee. I think he has potential to be a starter for Brown.

Crawff needs to back the hell up, because he has yet to prove that dealing for him was a worthy deal. Isiah better not let Crawf convince him to trade for another defensive liability like Curry. If this deal goes through, we better be able to shed one of our bad contracts. Think about it, the Bulls dealt us Crawff, and immediately they drafted a pretty good player in Ben Gordon,,,That deal was very positive for the Bulls and failed the Knicks in return.

I'm hoping it doesn't look like an ironic statement by January...

Lee had a great workout with Detroit last summer and a lot of people thought Phoenix was going to take him with the 21st pick in the draft. He averaged a double-double in the SEC last year so rebounding wont be a problem. What he can do offensively is be a match up night mare. He cant shoot the ball yet but is working on it. Put a 6-9 guy at the three and if you put a small man on him he takes them to the post. His passing, rebounding and feel for the game is why he will play so much. I can tell you without a doubt not one big man he went against in workout out played him. This include Diogu, Simien, Taft, and many more.

Yeah his passing and handle was very suprising to me during the summer.

He has a lot of potential. All he would need is a outside shooting touch and he would be a KVH with heart.

what's Lee's range these days? Does he at least have a midrange shot? For him to become a legit three he will need to have that type of game. Forget the 3 range, I just want consistant 10-15 footers put away.

I see Lee as being very similar to Nocioni (Bulls). A gritty forward who can play the 3 or 4 depending on matchups.

I Agree.

I'm not sure if he even has that. He has shown a grit to score in the paint....he definately has the condition and jumping ability to be effective in that way. I can't even tell you what his form looks like. He is a decemt free throw shooter but I dunno how that translates to him shooting in games.

It's tough...I like the way he plays....his handle, passing and open floor ability suprised me alot. I always thought he was just a finisher. He is much more than that.

If we lose him I would think Piat(sp?) and Pargo is not gonna cut it. Pargo would be nice if we didn't have 5 guys just as good or better than him.

We'll see what happens soon enough.
