August 18th , 2005

Well summer league is over and it was definitely a good learning experience. I played pretty well and averaged about 14 points 6 boards and 1.5 blocks. Which was pretty good, but I am still figuring out a lot of things in the pro game, so I think I can produce even better. The one thing I didn’t really expect was to have refs that call every little thing. I thought the NBA was going to allow a lot more contact and stuff, but I guess that’s how it goes. After all these guys are trying to make the NBA themselves so they didn’t want to miss any calls. But overall the summer league was a great experience and it was a lot of fun playing with Nate Robinson and David Lee.

After summer league I went down and spent a weekend with David Lee down in Gainesville Florida. It is crazy how much our two schools are alike. We had a lot of fun just hanging out and relaxing.

And then I went fly fishing in Sun Valley, Idaho. I know what some of you are probably thinking. Fly Fishing?? But don’t knock it until you try it. It was one of the most fun things I have ever done. And I caught some huge fish. So if you ever get a chance you definitely need to try it.

Oh yeah, and I got my car, a Mercedes CLS 55. Oh yeah and my new dog, his name is Brutus. He is a little boxer, but if he is anything like his dad he is going to be HUGE. His dad is like 95LBS. Now I’m just working on getting my house on the east coast and getting all situated.

I decided to head back to Chicago to workout for a month before training camp starts. I figure that way I will be in the best possible shape for our first practice with Larry Brown. I can’t even believe it, I played for a Hall of Famer in Lute Olson at Arizona, and now I get to play for another Hall of Famer in Coach Brown. And the kicker is that both of them were inducted on the same day back in 2002. That’s just a little trivia for you. Well, its back to work for me. I need to get myself ready to rock the Garden.

Ya know as soon as he spoke on Draft night I could tell he had a good head on his shoulders. In fact one thing I like about the kids that we have on this team is they all have a very good attitude. I hate to keep reading how we have a team of malcontents when its so far from the truth. Sweets is a quite guy, Ariza is a nice kid, JC isn't a trouble maker, I haven't heard much about Butler, but he seems to be OK, Frye, Lee & Nate are all good kids. Its just amazing how the media misses this.

Being a good kid is not a good story. Beech slapping your women, getting shot, not make palamony payments, and getting arrested at the airport with a gun is.

That's the good thing about sites like this. We can get the (good) news regarding our team that the media won't broadcast.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Oh my God, that was so bad, I never thought in my life BONN would say that.

It is nice to know that we have a couple of intelligent young men on our roster. Frye did the right thing by investing his money wisely. Too many of those young kids have chosen to blow their money the wrong way. Sweet has a nice Merc also.

Touched a nerve there eh buddy?
Or are you touching yourself thinking about my wife? Its ok, she's beautiful!

What model "johnson" you driving? A "Mini" Cooper? By the way, my wife don't like small cars.

Doing ones wife or "momma" jokes are so below your grade. Bonnie you shock me!

If you must know, stating which car you like better than Fryes choice especially as a college student was such an effeminent snit it cracked me up. I mean, if your planning a career in teaching, cars are just not that important. Screwing as many coeds as possible before your 30 should be.

I should have softened my response up a bit, but I thought the "who the F&*K asked you" line spoke volumns of sarcasim by itself.

Sweet dreams, even if they include having MILF and cookies at the house of NALOD.

Yeah, that's why she's cheating on you.
Sweet dreams
Why would I dream when I'm already railing your wife?

Bonn is saying things he would never ever say to someone in person. Just about most people would be on the ground with a shiner.
