Knicks' 2002 second-round pick Milos Vujanic is close to joining FC Barcelona." El Mundo Deportivo

It's a good thing Layden truly gaged this guy's interest in the NBA accurately...Imagine if he was never going to come over!

Well, he has been injured for the past 4 months, so his team chose not to resign him. The article says that he wants to be in the NBA in two years, so who knows... Anyway, my fav Spanish team is F.C.Barcelona, so I'm very happy!!
In my opinion he is the next Jasikevicius.

He never got the money guarantee even close to what he is getting in europe.

He would be a fool to have choosen the NBA in HIS circumstances. We wasted a no. 2 pick, hardley worth concern!

Layden bashing is a way too easy sport.

I usually don't bash Layden too hard but look at some of the guys that were available and that we passed up...Ron Murray, Matt Barnes, Jamal Sampson, Songaila, Rasual Butler, Tamar Slay, and Luis Scola....some fairly decent players..

This guy flaked when he had the chance to join the Knicks. I can care less about his 2-year goal. He made alot of fans who touted his arrival look really silly after he pulled that no-show.

Let him stay in Europe.

BTW, LayDown provided more than enough ammo for his critics (like me) to use against him. LOL!

I think Milos is one of those "I want to be a big fish in a small pond than being a small fish in a big pond" type of guy.

in all fairness to the suns, they made the deal to shed payroll. so the end result was having enough money to get nash and q.

I liked Snyder when he came out. I also really liked Romain Sato. If we were to trade Q for Curry as alot of people on the board have suggested, I wouldn't mind giving one of these two guys a flyer.

Lampe... LOL I remember all the hooplah about him AND Vujanic. It hilarious that things with both of them ended up just like I figured (One's too scared of real comp in the NBA, the other was an obvious bust). Where are all the Lampe and Vujanic fans now? LMAO Guess they are still choking on that crow too much to say anything since.
(Actually, aren't some of them Isiah critics now? LOL! Pathetic!)

Damn right that Stephon trade looks good.

Post trade full season:

Knicks 33 wins

Phoenix a hell of a lot more!

Spin it any way you want. Both Teams got what they wanted. We got a marquee player, PHX got cap room to rebuild.

How old is Lampe nowadays? Like 19 or 20? I think he can become a productive NBA center...

He can easily develop into a Will Purdue/Bill Wennington/Montross/Jason Collins/Todd Fuller/Marc Jackson type-- a classic journeyman center who's in the league for a decade+. He's big, he has elbows and is at least mildly coordinated.

He has better offensive upside than all of them...

Man, we loved the dude draft nite, and loved his enthusiasm knowing he needed a few years of work. We were all into his mobility and summer game, just like we do with current crop of rooks. Then he is traded we feel he must suck to validate the price we paid for marbs!

Flakey!

I hope this kid really turns out. We got what we wanted and did not have time to develope the kid. He was a second round pick. Basically a high school kid!

He is a mobile big man who could finally bring it on when he is like 24 or so!

I hope he comes in and drops 40 one day!

I never hate on our rookies!
