Solid addition, not much else you can say.

They have put together a solid bench which will make their trio even more dangerous. Rod Thorn has focused a lot on getting shooters for the team. That will help when teams double and triple team Carter and Kidd. From Wright in the draft to Jackson, McInnis and now Padgett. All of them can hit open jumpshots.

they needed taylor, they have a soft middle
with no depth

jason kid had a fcked up right knee and carter isnt the healthiest guy, they gave up on rahim---there better be a valid reason why they fluckned taylor[hopefully not bad for taylor] but if it was a little blood pressure or his knee was perfect , well these guys all have wear and tear. people are going to shy away from the nets pretty soon, although i could care less

Collins, Krstic, Jackson, Robinson and Padgett are not depth? How many more big men do they need? Jackson, Robinson and Collins are hardly soft. I hate that clown Collins but he is a solid defender for a big man as are Jackson and Robinson.

I dont get that Jason Kidd has a bad knee stuff at all. He averaged 19 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists in the last month of the season where his team went 8-2. He cant do that with a fcked up right knee. I hate his guts for embarassing our franchise on a public stage but I have to appreciate his talent and leadership.

I think they were looking at Wesley Person too. They are after shooters, which is understandable when you have Kidd who can penetrate and create doubleteams but isn't the best shooter.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Isiah would be killed on the boards for wasting a roster spot on a 7 year veteran with zero upside.

I dont think he is going to play PF. I think he will probably be a spot up shooter and play some defense. Thats about it.

I don't think you can compare Nets and Knicks moves. They are way different. It's like comparing Knicks 05 moves to Knicks of 96 or 97.

that's a huge exaggeration. The Nets won 9 more games than the Knicks last year and barely squeezed into the playoffs. The 96-97 Knicks won twenty-four more games than last year's Knicks and were a championship contender.

Rod Thorn is thinking Chicago Bulls. He is stockpiling a whole bunch of bums around Vince(Jordan), Richard(Pippen), and Kidd being the X factor.

Good for them. I can't wait till Friday October 28th.....it's supposed to be a televised pre-season game...Knicks vs. Nets

We don't play them for real until Dec. 26th....by then we should know where we stand.
