That's a decent lineup, but the 4 spot would still be a question () mark.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

The contracts (Pierce for 3 and Blount for 5) could end up being an issue for discussion, though. It's whether one believes Pierce is worth it. Why not?

pierce, crawford, q, and marbury

did the new CBA allow for 4 balls on the court at the same time?

right....anyways, i'd rather try to trade sweets, timmy and the picks in order to fill our PF spot. i'm content with ariza, Q, MoT, and possibly Lee at SF.

of course you make this trade - pierce is the SUPERIOR talent

but with that said, we have enough perimeter scoring. we really need to get a big post player.

Ya!

And while we're at it, let's trade Penny and Lee for KG straight up!!

AWESOME TRADE IDEA HOOOOOOOOMIE!
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I agree. I wouldn't look to use our assets on Pierce, but I would do the deal if the Celtics offered it. Pierce is tradeable if you later want a frontcourt player also.

have you forgotten that Danny Ainge added Chucky Atkins to his team to make sure Isiah didn't get Sheed?!?!? The man added Chucky bleeping Atkins to his own team to spite Isiah! You think he's going to give us Pierce for Tim Thomas, expiring or no? bawahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. sorry, that trade punched me in the lols.

Ainge would never trade Pierce to the Knicks for anything less than Marbury, & even then it's an iffy proposition imo.

This trade is far from Penny and Lee for KG.

Boston is rebuilding and don't need a PF, but they can use an expiring contract and 2 draft picks. Rose would be a great mentor for Jefferson.

Boston doesn't need Steph they have like 2 or 3 points they are trying to develop. They know they are in a FULL rebuilding mode so Ainge wanting Steph for Pierce is shooting himself in the foot. I wouldn't want to trade NY of our youngin's in the division and would much rather just give up draft picks. IDK...I think this trade is feasible, but may I offer an alternative....

Pierce and Blount for Crawford, Penny, and 1 a next year.

never said it was...a package of TT, Malik and 2 first round picks wouldn't even get you in the door in any discussions for KG to begin with.

Isn't it amazing all the different combinations you can come up with when you don't consider what the other team is getting in return?

Ok...tell me why it's crap....Boston gets a BIG expiring contract, a very good, very young 2 (or point), and a pick plus it gets rid of a bad contract in Blount, who they seemed to regret signing before the ink dried on the contract, clears a spot for the young guns it drafted and has waiting to get into the game...

Please tell me exactly why this trade is so horrible.....and remember because I said so isn't a reason.

it would be sweet if the Knicks could get Paul Pierce, period. I never thought I would say this but I don't think I would do this trade because the Knicks need an inside scorer, not another perimeter scorer
