Minnesota must give the Knicks Garnett. I think George Bush should get involved and threaten to officially turn Minnesota over to Canada(who lives in there anyway? They voted a Wrestler to be Govenor, lol)

The Knicks can offer cap room and youth. The Knicks will be able to keep Garnett and pay him like Shaq and still put a good team around him for the rest of his career.

It must happen.......it needs to happen.

Call your congressmen.

God Bless America!

Minny voted in a wrestler, the whole country voted in an actor. Minny is right where it belongs.

As far as getting Garnett:
As long as we don't cut our own throats with the deal, then hey, why not?
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Do the Knicks have a better package than other teams? Lakers could offer Odom, Bynum and Brown and a 1st. Chicago could offer Henrich, Chandler and Deng and a 1st. Two major cities, two places Garnet would rather be than NYC, and have better packages. Peace.

It would take a lot of b*tching from Garnett demanding that he wants to go to NY only for a Garnett deal to happen imo

You have a point but......who cares about those teams.....I'm talking about the Knicks.

Garnett could be a Knick without any change to the current starting line-up....aside from him being the starting PF and Ariza getting promoted. Quite nasty if you ask me.

Garnett doesn't strike me as an LA type of guy anyway. I don't think him and Kobe would get along. Chicago would basically have to gut their team to get him. They would recover in about a year but......it still makes the most sense for him to be in NY. He would make the Knicks complete.

I agree totally, and like the enthusiasm.
Who would consider trading to get him, in addition to TT?

Other than Stephon and Crawford or Q, I would trade the house for Kevin Garnett.

Interesting way to look at it...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Do Kevin and Stephon still not like each other? I would doubt if Isiah pulled out of a deal because Stephon doesn't like him, but does it still exist?

I think that was false.

They did magazine covers together and used to hangout. Marbs left Minnesota because he hated living there and he was going to New Jersey which was closer to home.

KT and Marbs clearly didn't like each other but they played well together.

I think Marbs is a different guy now than he was then and Marbs really wants to win so if there is a beef, that would get put to the side quickly.

I would like a Garnett trade to happen but I still realize that McHale is a certified retard.

I'm looking at that franchise and I see no present or future.

They need to get under the cap and they need to change the perception of the franchise. They have to start new and hopefully draw attention with some youth and money to spend in the next few years.

The Knicks have alot of pieces to offer. Right now Minnesota's roster looks like shyt.

sign me up fot the Kevin Garnett 2 NYK campaign...

But, I ain't selling Stephon Marbury to get it done. Anyway lets just say, Kevin McHale does want to deal K.G.; I'd offer:

J.Crawford
T.Thomas
M.Sweetney
M.Taylor
Both #1's next year

for

Kevin Garnett
and whatever else needed to make the salaries match up (Hudson, Olowokandi, Cassell???)
(I would say Wally World, but I doubt McHale would give up both players to NYC. But if he did, we'd have to include Ariza.. and in that case i'd still do it!)

^ You're not too bright if you think Minny takes that just b/c it works cap-wise (which it probably doesn't - I saw Taylor in there and stopped reading)

You know,I don't know if im the only one, but im getting aweful tired of your plssy, superior attitude. Take my word on it, too much of this and Martin/Andrew will boot you. IMO, good riddance. And thats nothing to do with your opinions on the Knicks, its just you.

Reading is fundamental "Bobbitt", one ya self. I never said that Minny would take this trade because it works cap-wise. Maybe you should have continued reading, because apparently you aren't as good as making inferences as you'd like to believe.

Anyway, for the record... this trade is just as capable of occuring as any of the other outlandish trades that's occured over the last few years.

Seeing that you neglected to read "whatever else needed to make the salaries match up" and believe that the salaries don't work. I've decided to show you, and you can check it yourself at realgm.com

scenario 1) NYK trades J.Crawford
T.Thomas
M.Sweetney
M.Taylor
Both #1's next year

for

Kevin Garnett
Sam Cassell
Fred Hoiberg

That trade satisfies the "whatever else needed to make the salaries match up" statement work!

Oh, and wouldn't you know it... The other part of that statement works as well:(I would say Wally World, but I doubt McHale would give up both players to NYC. But if he did, we'd have to include Ariza.. and in that case i'd still do it!)

Scenario 2) New York Trade Breakdown
Outgoing
Trevor Ariza
6-8 SF from UCLA
5.8 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.1 apg in 17.3 minutes
Mike Sweetney
6-8 PF from Georgetown
8.4 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 0.6 apg in 19.6 minutes
Jamal Crawford
6-5 SG from Michigan
17.7 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 4.3 apg in 38.4 minutes
Maurice Taylor
6-9 PF from Michigan
7.8 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 1.4 apg in 23.8 minutes
Tim Thomas
6-10 SF from Villanova
12.0 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.6 apg in 27.3 minutes

Incoming
Wally Szczerbiak
6-7 SF from Miami
15.5 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 2.4 apg in 31.6 minutes
Kevin Garnett
6-11 PF from Farragut Academy HS (IL)
22.2 ppg, 13.5 rpg, 5.7 apg in 38.0 minutes

Get off mine, Bobbitt 4 real!

No disrespect, but this is coming from a guy that think Minnesota would take back Mo Taylor and Jamal Crawford in a package for Garnett....

I have no further comment on that.

4 real Bobbitt you are a clown! why wouldn't they take back a young combo guard like Jamal Crawford and Mo Taylor, along with other expiring contracts (ie T.Thomas) plus 2 1st rd draft picks and Mike Sweetney. You are buggin if you think they don't at least consider it!

Just one other thing,

STOP WITH KG TRADES.

If the TWolves traded him, they wouldn't make any $$$. There's a reason they call him the Big Ticket, and just for you information, the package would have to be Penny, Timmy, Ariza, Frye, and 2 1sts for KG and Wally + filler (if necess.)

Try staying realistic. Do yourself a favor, bring your original offer to the Wolves board on RealGM. Can anyone say IB4TL?
