mo + jyd to toronto
jalen rose to miami
eddie jones to ny

why?

1. the contract lengths and dollars all match up.
2. clears our PF glut.
3.

for miami: jrose and eddie jones was being discussed last season so miami would still get their guy.

for toronto: they get some much needed frontcourt help and they loved jyd.

for us: we get rid of a PF glut, get a SG that can play defense, albeit and aging one

again, it's late, and i'm just throwing some stuff out there. i don't like eddie jones but this seems like a trade that could go down.

wow, now that's putting a nice image in my head. i'm not sure how many young bucks here know the real farrah fawcett tho.

now, throw in a little heather thomas from zapped and we're good to go...

You guys would pass that trade up?

Dumb. Eddie Jones is still very serviceable. He's a 3-point threat and can defend. Except ya...I don't really like his game at all. And isn't he being traded to Memphis?
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Knicks of old would trade Jessica Alba (say 3 years ago) for Terri Hatcher.

if you want E Jones, just offer up Penny for him...the 1 year of extra salary won't effect our cap situation in '07

JYD can be a contributor, & i don't want to trade him period.

I think JYD can play an important role in the development of guys like Frye and Lee. He'sa a good pro, plays so hard, listens to the coach, always working... he's the kind of guy you want your young players around. He can also handle and pass some, so I can see LB using him a lot early on to establish a style of play, then working in the younger guys.

I would rather pursue Grant Hill

Grant Hill would obviously be a better option, but the injury risk is so high w/him...still, i would take the risk if the Knicks are going to release Allan Houston...at least we've seen that Grant can still be a contributor if he's able to play...Houston looked old & shot even when he gave it a go...i think it's time for him to retire unfortunately.

Sorry, but I have to say no to Eddie Jones. I don't see where we really improve with this trade. It does seem like this trade favors Miami.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Dang Briggs...You Old School kid! I would rather have Bo Derek and Phoebe Cates as my 3 way. I hope Jessica Alba isn't reading this post.

this i agree with BUT we already have malik so one of them should be expedable since they are both redundant.

i only proposed this as a way to clear PF glut and to bring back a serviceable player.

again, just throwing stuff on the wall.

nyk - AWESOME call on pheobe cates. whatever happened to her? isn't the scene where she comes out of the pool in "fast times" the GREATEST scene ever?

guns - and good call on tanya roberts.

Phoebe! If you think about it, she in her day had a similar look as Ms. Alba!

I think its funny how we talk about all the bad days of getting expensive players past their prime, and here we are talking about trading up the ones we have, for others!

Let the trail finally end with patience! Give it time, and let the dead weight fall by the wayside
it's late., but how's this 3-way?
