1. Wade - He's a special player
2. Kidd - He's a winner and he makes his teammates better
3. Nash - He's more concerned with making his team better.
4. Davis - Similar to Marbury but he actually plays defense.
5. Marbury
6. Arenas

Wade is a shooting guard. They had Damon Jones play PG last year, and I thought JONES got a lot less credit than he deserved. He played solidly, despite some of the dumb comments he has said the past year.

I think it's J-Kidd at the top b/c he's awesome on both sides of the ball, and then Marbury and Nash are about tied and both are about equally as bad on defense (Don't listen to what Bonn says). After that, it's up for grabs. Baron is a good player, but he's all about chucking and still hasn't seemed to control himself. He seems to really be a souped up version of Jamal Crawford, the way I look at it, and I say souped up b/c he penetrates mroe. I see it as being up for grabs for Parker, Baron, Gilbert and even Billups and Bibby. All worthy of consideration.

I forgot to mention Heinrick. He absolutely positively can eventually become the best PG in the league in a few years from now. The guy is friggin' good.

Dude!!! Billups has to be the best out of all of them. He won a championship with his team, and most of all, he was his team's best player. Give credit where credit is due. Kid is second, because he marched his team to the NBA finals twice. After, Marb/Nash/Baron are equal in my opinion

I don't trust Nash to stay healthy. He and Kidd are definitely better PURE PGs, but other than Wade, Marbury is the guy I would want for the next three years. If we're talking about a one year run or one do or die game, Nash and Kidd move up. But for a three or five year plan, my list is:

1) Wade
2) Marbury

Ok, who chugged a pitcher of Kool-Aid and voted for Marbury over Wade or Kidd? Show your face and explain yourself.

wow...baron davis is just like marbury...he doesnt play defense at all..i'd take billups over kidd now too, and nash is good and i;d take him over kidd...marburyis all around da best point guard skill wise on dat list...he can go inside, shoot the ball, pass when needed. Lets see da talent surroundin the other guys

Dwyane Wade - (shaquille o'neal) - No explanation needed
Jason Kidd - (Vince Carter, Richard Jefferson, Shareef Abdur Rahim)
Steve Nash - (Amare Stoudemaire, Joe Johnson(?), Shawn Marion and Q(last yr)
Baron Davis -(Jason Richardson,Pietrus,Troy Murphy,Dunleavy <---dont sleep on these two)
Gilbert Arenas -(Antawn Jamison,Caron Butler,Antonio Daniels - i say they somewhat compensated the loss of hughes)
Chauncey Billups -(Ben Wallace,Rasheed Wallace, Rip Hamilton,Tayshaun Prince)
Stephon Marbury -(Jamal Crawford(?)...Tim Thomas?.....Sweetney?...houston?)

Now look at the rosters of the other teams PG's
Kidd has 3 all stars with him
Nash has 3 all stars with him
Wade and Shaq are all stars
Baron Davis is an all star and richardson is on the verge of being one
Arenas and jamison are all stars
Billups - not an all star...But...rasheed and ben wallace are
Starbury - the lone all star on his team

now im not sayin being an all star makes u better...it does in a sense but if u dont have a good supporting cast than u can put up 20 pts and 8 assists but will get overlooked because the performance of the team will continue to stink...im not sayin marbury is da best...but if he had agroup pf players that would help him look good it would help

Dont tell me when he was Jersey he had k-mart...he was out for the whole year
In minnesota he had garnett - both were young and selfish wolves traded steph instead
In phoenix while he was there the only established star was marion and joe johnson and amare were young..i think it was joes rooie or sophomore year and amares rookie year

A player is only seen as good as his cast...if his cast is trash..than his numbers arent relevant
''We don't have the luxury to take anybody lightly,'' New York's Quentin Richardson said. ''We're not that good.''

Don't forget that he is playing with the most dominant force in the game (Shaq)

kidd changes the game like no one else- I'm excluding wade because he aint really kinda a pg- nash would be next- kidds a better rebounder than nash, but nash a better shooter.

would probably pick marb 3rd. he is starting to develop a track record of putting up great stats, but leading teams to loosing records. sorry.

How can you put marbs third? Like what knicks fan said, the surrounding players. If marbury had a great supporting cast like billups and nash, he could do just as great

Kidd never made anyone "better" until he got to jersey

and I LOVE the fact that people forget that Nash looked ALOT like Marbury in the Spurs series.....didn't he?

give me Marbury any day......

I was going to say something like that but I say pick your spots... Funny how Nash got credit for it too. Nash inability to play any sort of defense is horrible, the only problem I have with Marbury is that he is capable of playing defense but picks his spots. I think he gets worn down (too many minutes and is forced to pick spots). If Joe Johnson in fact does go to Atlanta, it will be interesting to see how the Suns will respond. For all the love they got last off season this could be one of the worst off seasons for any team in recent memory.
