One move...and we'll be kicking their ass all over the ****in court.

I don't hate the Nets, but how can you take a team serious that can't sell out a ****in playoff game with Vince Carter and Jason Kidd ON THE TEAM??

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

they still lack beef upfront. any injury upfront hurts them. they should probably go the route of bringing in some cheap bangers like a Lonnie Baxter and use half the MLE on Othella something like 3 years 7.5mm

If/when Rahim becomes a Net, they will have a sick starting lineup, but they will also be soft as hell.

I'm kind of jealous of the Nets--- they've restocked with Carter and SAR to replace K-Mart/Kittles from 2 seasons ago. They're more than fitting replacements, no doubt.

Plus they still have money to spend for a backup PG and more big-man depth.

Alas, that hole Scalabrine left behind will be hard to fill.

Rod Thorn is an incredible GM.

No matter, the Nets are Damned to Hell. Watch what happens to those chumps this season. Shareef going there? Whatever.

I want to hock and friggin' spit on their center court logo right there in the middle of the L-Low-Lands. I've snatched Nets hats right off some of my turncoat co-workers and shoved them right to the bottom of the goddamn TRASH because THAT's where the Nets belong- it's what they are... excrement...

...I really HATE the Nets.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

shortly after the kmart surrending --thorn admitted he made a mistake

but to rebound and pick up vince carter and now sar shows thorn really knows the business

sar agreed to a 6 yr mle in a s+t deal where the nets used an injury exemption and a conditional 1st round pick in 2006 and have signed F cliff robinson to a 1 yr vet minimum contract

the nets maintain their own mle which they are looking to split for a CG to keep Jay Kidd minutes down to 30 and another frontcourt player --nets persons of interest keyon dooling, earl watson, damon stoudemire gary payton steven hunter dale davis reggie evans and othella harrington

thats off their blog

Nets could be good- SAR is probably a better fit with Kidd in a half court set that Kmart was.

Thorn is the Man.

You can hate them, but sorry, they are probably going to have a better record than us.

They just don't have the depth yet. Vince is a good player but I would hate to go into the season with your success riding on that guy.

the Nets are a franchise that i want to see them fall flat on their faces but somehow they refuse to allow me the satisfaction.

i was hoping back then, that Kidd would leave but he stayed and i had to watch him and juwanna all on tv then when Kenyon left, i was like YES!

Bryon Scott, Alonzo, we got Mutombo

but they are still holding on.

something inside of me can't help but to respct that

Yeah, when Martin left I felt like the team just got neutered--but it's amazing how good Kidd makes that team with a little talent around him.

the nets are a franchise knicks have to worry about. for years knicks had no competition and selling out seats was as easy as selling fans.

i'm impressed with ratner's commitment to kidd. but when its all said and done nets and knicks are heading for a showdown.

Just read that the House voted to extend the USA Patriot Act...do you think Isiah is trying to find a way to detain S.A.R. until next year?

Rod thorn and Stepanski are doing a hell of a job..

Within a yr , they've acquired Carter and SAR to play with Kidd. Not bad... Also, losing Kenyon Martin doesn't really look bad of a deal..

The Future. GO KNICKS!

any net decline would not elevate the knicks in any way.

They do what they do, and we are doing our own thing.

They had larry already! He did a good job for them.

They are gearing up to win now, we are rebuilding. Two teams in different places.

How many Net haters out there hated on them when they had Marbury?

Must have hated Marbs then?

Truth be told, when he said we'd never win a championship with Childs and Charlie and we went to the finals anyway, I was not feeling any love for marbs. I did not like him dissing our guards at the time!

Where ever Reef goes, they always miss the playoffs...look for the train to continue now that the East is much stronger...Here are the 8 teams that will represent the east in the playoffs:

Miami
Detroit
the Knicks, yes I said it
Cleveland
Indy will have similar record with Cleveland
Wizzards
Bahston
76ers

that is it folks....
