I was checking out the Hawks SL stats.. Now I know this is SL but josh smith stats have been less than impressive,I mean he has a full year of NBA play under his belt and this guy is shooting bricks. 4-11 one game I can remember. Marvin williams stats have looked bad and he is getting minutes, 7 points and 7 boards, shooting 2-11, and another game he shot 2-9 I think, he is not looking good so far from what I can see, and this is the guy I had high hopes for, again it is just SL but wow.. It really makes the knicks trio stand out IMO... I don't think the hawks are worrying but Marvin williams so far is not shooting well at all....

Marv does alot of things well, just not too much GREAT!

The guy came out early to support his family, but he needs work.

He is a great athlete, but not a baskeball talent quite yet.

everyone remember when Ben Gordon shot like 30% over his first 12 games? It just takes time... you can see the talent and the impact of those guys.

So why doesn't everyone have the same OBJECTIVE view on our own players ? ( FRYE ) !
Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!

no you can't Rev. sharpton, because if you look at my post, I said" I know it is summer league" which leads me to believe that you are just posting with no rhyme or reason,other than to be a pest. maybe that perm has fried your brain.....

You kind of remind me of diarrhea. Never know when you are going to show up, but when you do, it usually stinks and is a mess, but best of all, when you leave it is such a relief....

It's always like that. We heap praise, give free passes on everybody except our own. Everyone drafted ahead of Frye and behind Frye can stink up the joint and the powers that be (talking about some of the more famous posters here) will rationalize the funk of these guys. Meanwhile, Frye didn't average a double double so he must be a bust, IT must go and he can take Frye with him. You'll see for yourself.

abso-effing-lutely, these guys are all hippocrits...it's hard keeping up...I've been going by the adage of catching them in a good mood...sht...you should see the board after losses...Holy hell.

Marv has sucked...however, i am impressed with 7 boards.

So far, we had the best draft of any team and by far the best draft day (Q).

Hands down...now lets see how big this thread gets.

Glad to see someone who sees the same thing. All these hypocrits and bandwagon jumpers running around here. It's all right though. What I have seen from Frye...he has a jump hook with either hand, a jumpshot, a little handle and I think he is going to be ok. Lee, is crazy aggressive. He isn't shy taking the ball to the basket and dunking it with either hand. Lee is very good around the basket. I haven't seen him shoot a jumpshot yet. Both of our big guys looked good. Nate Rob...there's really nothing I can say about that dude that will give him justice. He's hot, he's nasty, he's a bad lil mofo. Period. Overall, I feel IT had an excellent draft. I think he has found players who can help us now, rather than later. Can't wait for the season to start.

be careful, when you say help us immediatetly, you may make everyone yell at you because it's not part of rebuilding to get players that can help you immediately.

I think Zeke may have outdone himself...we gotta buy out or trade some of these PFs...I will be the first to say, from what I've seen in the summer league, I'll take my chances with this SL crop (ariza, nate, lee, frye), sprinkle in a little Crawford and top it off with a Q, Marbs, TT...ofcourse, toss in a Rose/MoT combo and I see us making the playoffs easy.

yeah, I said it...making the playoffs easy...we all saw last year's games...they lost 16 games by 6 or fewer points...a few on last second shots (twice to the bulls).

We win half of those and we're 38 win team.

We get 5 more wins and we are in the second round.

I'm not concerned...last year, to me, was a fluke, I was pumped for the season and when we were 16 - 13 it was as expected...then the wheels came off...blame lenny, blame H20, blame marbs, blame zeke...but one thing is for sure...

We are better going into the season this year than we were last year, and we had a better draft day than every other team, especially in the east.

It's gonna be a fun fun season...even if we don't make the playoffs...no, we're making the playoffs, tanking is for suckers.

We're definitely making the playoffs and outside the Big 3 (Detroit, Miami, Nets) I'm not worried about anyone in our division. I'm used to being in the minority in things until things come out the way I say it will when everybody wants to say they were down with the cause. I was down with the fire Layden thing because he had to go. Some of his decisions were mind boggling and he never gave us a plan as to what he wanted to do. Here comes IT and people don't like for no reason. This team has been capped out for years, not holding Layden or his predecessors responsible. Many of the hypocrits took the media's stance that this team will NEVER be under the cap and that's just the way it goes. IT gets here and these same hypocrits expects this team to have been under the cap YESTERDAY. Where was all this fiscal responsibility 10 years ago? 5 years ago? 3 years ago?

and believe it or not, in two years if the knicks stand pat, they will be under the cap.

and still have lee, nate, frye, JJ, marbs, crawford, Q, butler, etc.

We're headed in teh right direction and zeke is entering month 19.

Hold your horses...Don't be so quick to declare playoffs just yet.....Chemistry will have a lot to do with our success...Let's just pray that Larry is our leader...

I think so too, but let's wait and see first....It has definitely been a good year for the Knicks so far. The basketball gods have blessed us dearly...so, who knows what else is in the future for us....never know...

yea, we do, I just haven't been there, between here and realgm which I am a moderator over there, I haven't had time to go to the other sites. I will IM Ice tomorrow and get that site, when I had to scrub my hard drive on my computer I forgot to write that site down...

It is not only here but on other sites. It is odd and sickening at the same time. It is almost like you are afraid to praise the knicks, because if you do, it gets blown out of proportion and made to seem like you said the knicks were winning the championship this year....
