deepest team in the league? please calm down...there are teams like DAL, SA, IND & DET that have deeper benches than the Knicks do, & that's just off the top of my head...let's wait to see what Frye, Lee, Nate give us before we proclaim them the deepest bench in the NBA.

As far as quality big men go I don't think anyone is deeper.
And the reply is...a post that makes sense (still waiting)

I wouldn't swap anyone's bench for the Knicks, name a team you would swap with--nobody has the quality of depth the Knicks have at all positions.

quality bigmen? we have Rose, JYD, Mo T, Lee, Frye & Butler on the bench...3 of those guys are journeyman role players, & the other 3 are completely unproven...again, let's see what Frye, Lee & Butler can do before we make these kinds of assumptions...none of them have shown a thing in the NBA just yet.

Detroit & Denver go three deep in their frontlines. All six of those players could start for a lot of NBA teams. The same cannot be said for our frontline.

So we should have kept Dice...funny. You would rather have Nene than Sweets or Frye?

Anyway, we are not the deepest team YET but we are deeper than 90% of the teams in the league.

What world are you living in? Their stats are nearly identical except Sweetney has an offensive game.

His defensive game is not much more than being 6'11--he's not a shotblocker.

go ahead & take a poll since you think i'm insane to prefer Nene over Sweetney...i obviously don't live in your rose colored world that tells you the Knicks have the deepest team in the NBA w/3 unproven rookies & 3 journeyman role players.

I'd take Nene over any big man we have with *possible* exception of Frye. I have to see Frye play some NBA games before deciding on that comparison.

wow, I like nene, but how quickly do we overrate other teams players, I have the feeling that if sweets were in a denver uniform and nene were in a knicks uni, this converstaion would be a lot different. It's all about perception right now, and the perception now, even with knicks fans is that everything other teams do is sugar, and everything we do is ****!!!

BTW: I wonder why Denver paid all that money, near 70+ mil to kenyon to come and play the same position that nene plays?
