Here we go with the Bynum and Green crap again. The draft is gone and overwith, forget it or root for another team.

no because I root for the team and the colors not every single player. I'm not content with mediocrity. I've seen it for too long. There's no reason that a power like the Knicks with all its history should be mediocre just because a cap was brought in during 99. They have to learn to work around it and stop worry about filling seats

It's not going to happen. I don't get why you can't understand this, James Dolan is CONTENT with the way things are, he's paying millions upon millions in luxury taxes and have you heard him complain once? No, because the fans are still in the seats.

How about he can talk about whatever he wants to talk, and if you don't like it, don't read. Or better get out if you can't handle a difference of opinion.

Simrud I really disliked reading your posts early last season while I sipped the Knicks Koolaid because they were so negative. It's really funny that now I'm being as realistic as you were.

I still think Isiah is a good GM though and Dolan is the bigger problem. thanks for backing me up..people just don't like hearing the truth thats all.

Once the season starts I'll start talking knicks basketball again I promise but until then I'm gonna puke every time Frye grabs 3rebs and Bynum puts up double-doubles. Once the season starts there will be other things to worry about

Its all good man, I just could not respect a team that showed their mental makeup my folding on opening night against a divion rival.

From that first game I knew what they were. We lost that game not because Boston was better, but because they crumbled under the pressure of opening night of the high expectations season. That was the worst, seeing them totally crumbe and show how soft they are. A disgrace for all the Knick teams that were known for their toughnes, both mental (the Clyde era) and physical (Ewing).

Truth? How many times does it has to be said that we don't know how any of this kids will work out. What if this turns out to be the worst draft overall in the past seasons with every player sucking? You just never know! What's the point of complaining when we still know nothing about all these kids and how their careers will work out? If you believe summer league is an indication of future NBA success you are fooling yourself since many have dominated it and then be nothing in the NBA.

What?!?!?!?!?! What are you talking about? This are kids!!!! How can you say no one sucks in the summer and dominates when you are talking about kids that still are so far away from reaching their potential, so far away from working on their games to make them better. Summer League is to work on some parts of your game that need to be fixed, not about exploiting your already established ones. Teams will demand players to do certain things just to see how they respond, but that doesn't necessarily means that thats how they play.

And another thing, if you are using the word "suck" refering to Frye, then you haven't followed his stats so far. He hasn't and doesn't have to dominate (so 12 and 9 are dominating?). He has had some solid games and will work on getting better in the areas that are weak of his game (what the SL is all about).

Simrud, you need to go back to the drawing board with that comment. This is TOTALLY untrue in every sense of the word. PLENTY of big time players have had semi summer league showings. PLEEEENNNNNTY!

Didn't Frye drop more than that in both games without even being fed the ball? lol

Also didn't Frye have a dunk?

Lastly, it was interesting when Laker fans said that Bynum looked like a "deer caught in the headlights". It won't be long before they hate him.

But, I digress. I was happy to see our own Nate the great getting love on that page. He REALLY dominated....which means nothing because of course this is just summer league. So let me not overreact yet. If we were in the playoffs and he was getting PT other teams would adjust to him and then HE'D have to adjust HIS game.

Summer league is one of my favorite times of year. Everyone bases what a player does here as to what his career will look like lol. Irrational, but ya gotta love it!

its funny because the same people killing us for this will be the once complaining about passing up on these guys when they go on to have mcgrady, amare, jermaine like careers. Same way people still can't believe we passed up on Amare and Artest. But its okay, its expected when you're chugging the Kool-Aid

The hilarious thing to me is that when draft comes around EVERY HIGHSCHOOL PLAYER is automatically O'Neal, Kobe and Amare. Even though people have never seen these guys play it is ONLY the fact that they came from highschool that automatically makes them elite. At that point, all of the highschool players who have flopped (and that last is waaaayyyy longer than the ones who succeeded) are totally ignored. Every highschool player will be McGrady.....sounds good to me.

I disagree, I think more HS payers who got picked in the 1st round became a success.

Lets see: Kobe, Garnett, Amare, Lebron, Tmac, JOneal, vs Wagner and Kwame?

Jure is still out on Curry, Chandler, and all last year's pick. Even though JR Smith, Josh Smith, are both doing well. But its too early to tell.

Feel free to add to the list on both sides, to make the discussion more complete.
