unless that trade includes ATL's unprotected lottery pick for 2006, it's a horrible trade.

Tim Thomas, Mo Taylor and JYD for Garnet and Szerbiak works under the CBA and has the benefits for the TWolves of giving then the expiring contracts of of TT and Mo T getting them under the cap for a few years and out of Szerb's contract. The benefits for the knx are obvious and makes them Eastern Div contenders immediately. It certainly is not talent value for Minn. but if they are into rebuilding it enables them to remain competitive while they retool.

Stop dreaming, Minny would never take a trade that bad. I think its possible to get KG, but we'd have to give up players with actual VALUE, like the players we just drafted or crawford.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

This trade will happen . . hmmmm, let's see . . . I got it, when James Dolan puts his hair in pigtails like Spree and the 2 of them go off for a nautical pimp on Spree's yacht.

Last time I check JYD and Mo T are not expiring contracts. We also have a whole thread devoted to this.

TT comes off this year (the biggest peces) Mo T next and JYD the year after-they get relief for 3 years

Last time I check JYD and Mo T are not expiring contracts. We also have a whole thread devoted to this.

Isiah is not going to trade Marbury if he is not going to get draft picks back. If he was trading Marbury to the ATL it would have to include Josh Smith and Picks!

Another reason that trade wont happen is that the ATL players make a total of 11 mill while Marbs will be making 16 mill. 5 mill gap. Doesnt work under the CBA

I beleive under the CBA, a team under the cap can take on greater salary then they give out, no?

The Atl trade works under the cap because Atl so far under. Would rather see variation of Garnett with Marbury traveling west (supposedly IT balked at Marbury for KG plus fillers) rather than the crap from Atl.
