If they get picked top 7 it means one of Green/Webster/one of the PG's/Granger/Wright/Graham are all there.

And to tell yout the truth, all these guys just meight be better then Frye.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

i just cahnged us to gerald Green. I dont think he is better than Granger, but I think it will be a flashy pick, good for business and on the downside at 30 we pick up Morris

It would have to be these players 1-7:
Bogut [locked]
M. Williams [locked]
Chris Paul
Deron Williams
Gerald Green
Danny Granger
Channing Frye
Andrew Bynum

Someone on that list would have to slip, thats 8 guys. It wont be Paul or Deron because guys are high on them. The only players projected in the top 7, I can see slipping are:

Gerald Green
Danny Granger

I have to choose between those two, I easily choose Danny Granger.

If somehow, Paul or Deron is available, I try to orchestrate a trade with a team who needs them. They are high lottery talents, we could likely get a really good player/pick package for them.

But if Granger is there I pick him and call it a day, he has the potential to be one of the best talents in the draft.

If Bynum and Frye are gone then the draft must have gone this way...

1. Bucks - Bogut
2. Hawks - Marvin Williams
3. Portland - Gerald Greene
4. Hornets - Chris Paul
5. Charlotte - Deron Williams
6. Utah - Frye
7. Raptors - Bynum

8. Knicks - ????

Available - Martell Webster, Fran Vazquez, Antoine Wright, Raymond Felton, Joey Graham, Granger.

I pick Fran Vazquez

EDIT: Ooopps! I forgot about Granger.

I pick Granger then.

Frye gone, Bynum gone, Green gone, no problem. Draft Granger or Joey Graham!! For a stretch, draft Taft. Not too bad for a worst case scenario.

If Bynur and Frye are not on the board, look for Isiah to pick Blatche or Taft....After all, they were all very high on a lot of GMs boards, they didn't suddenly lose their skills or attractiveness..Isiah will not come out of this draft without 2 bigs

Deep is not the word...this draft may not have a super-star, but it is very rich on talent...Personally, if Frye is not on the board, I want Blatche....We can always bring in a FA center and play JB as a backup until we are sure that Blatche is ready physically. We know that he has the skills, but I am not sure that he is muscular enough to withstand the poundage that he would endure in a 82 games season...

Do not sleep on Simien, he can step in immediately and score in the post. He's going to be an immediate impact next year much like Elton Brand.
And the reply is...a post that makes sense (still waiting)

Granger and Green are both GREAT options, and one will be there if Bynam and Frye are gone (I have a feeling they will be).
My thinking is there are 2 teams with multiple first rounders ahead of us in Cha and Tor. They both know we are high and Frye and possibly Bynum. They also figure there will be a good selection of wing players where they have their 2nd picks. That just spells go big first and take the BPA with their next picks.

I have a feeling no matter who the Knicks draft, they will be walking away with a good player. Please do not trade them!!! WE need some young people!

If Frye is gone we can't afford to potentially waste a pick on Bynum or any other HS player. We need production, maturity, and leadership NOW. If Frye is gone I would be happy with May or Simien and gamble on 7 footer later.

oh my, and welcome to the site. Let's draft an undersized PF and sit him behind Sweets, JYD, Rose, MoT. thanks for playing.

With all respect to Sweets, the Knicks don't have their PF of the future on the current roster.

understood but May and Simien are not the answer. Not with all the talent on the board at 8!
