Forget Green since there's no way he gets by Toronto. Who would you draft? keep in mind Wright looks great in workouts. The Knicks have to stack all these guys up against each other in workouts and see who has the greatest star potential. This way we truly hit a homerun @ 8 if Bynum is gone.

let me rephrase that..

Who do you think will be a bigger star?

Forget about the Knicks since it looks like we have a great chance at Bynum.

of course the Knicks can pass on Bynum for one of these wing players and Bynum winds up going to the Warriors or Lakers at 9 or 10.

Granger... he's got an injury bug but if he can stay healthy I think he's got NBA star potential. Like Carmelo but stronger.

McCants - Not sure why he makes the list. A short SG with a lack of explosiveness, ball handling ability & a me first sulking attitude to boot.

McCants has the build and athletism to pull off playing SG in the nba unlike a guy like Jamal Crawford for example

Crawford is a far better athlete than McCants. Granted, his game & build needs serious work. I think McCants is more like a Rodney Monroe type. A guy who is 6'2" or 3"...good college scorer, but doesn't have the athletic ability to overcome his size disadvantage at the next level. He also doesn't seem to have the intangibles to give him a good shot at doing so.

Crawford wishes he could dunk the ball the way the 6-3/6-4 does! He's more like Wade/Francis in terms of hops than Crawford.

And McCants is a very good shooter! He shot 49% for his entire 3yr career in college man! Crawford can't shoot 49% in a season against middle schoolers!

All while playing on a GREAT championship team. He's gonna flourish in the NBA

McCants is ....what's the best word to describe him...lethargic. He looks like an athlete b/c of his build, but he has no where near the athleticism of Steve Francis. Why do you think he's a bubble 1st rounder & 3 of his teammates (not to mention Francis, Crawford......and geez Dwayne Wade....are you serious????)?

and an underrated passer!

not saying he'll be as good as Wade but guarantee hell be a better pro than Crawford. He will never miss 61% of his shots and he's not afraid of using his GREAT crossover to get in the paint and dunk in traffic wheareas Crawford is.

We'll see. Are there a lot of 6'2" off-guards in the NBA that I'm not aware of???? I don't think he lasts 3 years in the NBA. I also don't think he is near the athlete that some think he is. I think he's dropping like a stone in the draft because he was overrated.

here you go Purple!

McCants ended up having to sit out the rest of the workout. So why is he on the upside list? Because sources with the Lakers and Clippers watched him work out in Los Angeles just before his trip to Toronto and both came away convinced he'll be gone before they draft at Nos. 10 and 12, respectively.

thanks Fish!

I hope he (McCants) is gone before we pick at 8 because then it'll mean we are certain to get a 5. If Bynum is not there at 8 then there's no question in my mind (quite demented mind mind you that we need to go with....and you know where i'm going with this Guns....PETRO.
