We've discussed Ariza and Sweets alot. I think maybe of the two, Ariza might be the better player when he 'matures'. But I'm not sure...

this week Ariza has opened my eyes...I know it's unfair for sweets because he is hurt, but I had no idea ariza could dribble penetrate and has been working on his midrange jumper...in one week, he's made penny tradeable NOW.

Without the height, sweets will have some trouble, but he's got hops and a nose for the basketball, so given time he will excel in the knicks system.

Good poll, but Ariza is definitely on his way and he's on 19!
all kool aid all the time.

I picked Mike. I like Ariza and I think he will be the kind of defender that a coach will start and finish him on the oppositions best scorer. I also think the 24/12/2 that Mike averages per 48 minutes isnt an abberation. Per 48 he gets 5.8 PFs. I think if KT got hurt and we could see Sweetney play for 30 minutes a game he would put up some substantial numbers. I also think it makes since to stick with KT for the year if for no better reason than because he's getting traded this offseason, and starters are easier to trade then bench players with 3 years left.

Ariza's emergence was never part of anybodys plans. A second rounder even making the team at 19, and given a chance is so unKnick like! He has robbed Penny of his time.

Penny is detached from reality and thinks his salary is consistant with his ability. Reality for Penny can't be pretty.

Penny is like super laker fan Diane Carroll. She just don't realize she not pretty anymore!

I hope Isiah just cuts him a check.

Ariza should be considered untradable! Isiah can collect kudos for this kid for years! Krause had pippen, Laydog had stockton, this could be isiahs poster boy!

they said had ariza stayed in school, he would have been a lottery pick.

Both have some uncanny traits

hey, at least we're not talking about Howard Eisley or Shandon Anderson anymore.

They're both part of a four players nucleus of this team. I like 'em both. Like rvhoss says on Ariza with the preface he works dilligently on his J (mechanics)... and Sweets if he stays in tip top physical condition and lays off the Krispy Cremes.

I said Ariza just to pick one. I'm with Pike...I like them both.
