man, each of those guys was blessed with 6'10" athletic bodies.

Both were infussed with talent.

God forgot to add heart.

Although I would add that CSmith did have bad knees. And did get more rebounds.

Charles Had some good years BEFORE he got to the Knicks.

TT has been inconsistant his whole career.

Charles helped us get to the playoffs and was in a position to put back "THE DUNK". To do that you have to box out and sweat. Make an effort.

TT would be standing on the perimeter looking for a shot.

MisS gazy is far more frustrating than Charles.

Man. Charles got fouled by MJ, Grant and Pippen. The freaking refs swallowed their whistles.

Charles Smith was a good player for us. He had heart, He did not have the wheels. Even Oak would not bad mouth Charles Smith.

Sorry, I'm still not ready to forgive Charles Smith. Maybe after the Knicks win their next championship, like Boston can now forgive Buckner.

I will never forget that night.

I am not ready to vote for Tim yet- he had some good games for us last year and its early this year.

But, just like its starting to look like Christmas, it really is starting to look like TT is a spare wheel that is not needed.

He needs to get his confidence back and he needs to get shipped out.

How about for Antoine Walker?

Who thinks Antoine is going to want a trade? The Hawks look so bad, they should be playing college ball!

Interesting question.Pick your poison.Right now Id have to say Charles Smith becuase he was so underwhelming in 3 years with the Knicks and that blown dunk in one of the most important posessions in Knicks history.I know some people are coming out now saying that Jordan and Pippen fouled him which they might have but if he had taken it up strong the refs would have called it or he may have had 2 pts but he didnt.

TTs numbers were better than Smith's overall but he has been here less than a full season. What rockets him up to a very close second is all the yapping he does and the non-existent play to back it up.

As much as I dislike TT,his antics really dont mean much in the scheme of things. We arent going to the finals for a few years, there isnt a dynasty like the Bulls to contend with now.Smith was soft when this team couldnt afford it.

Charles Smith's athletic ability wasn't close to Tim Thomas's

To me TT is more infuriating. Charles Smith was a solid player that put up solid numbers that could have been better, and of course had the incident. TT on the other hand has the size, athletic ability and talent to be one of the Top 10 players on the face of the earth. Instead he has consistently turned himself into an inconsistent role player.
I just hope that people will like me

I think that TT needs both a heart and brain transplant. He has no heart and no pride. He also has no basketball IQ whatsoever. He is a physical specimen that fell in love with playground ball and could not understand the concept of teamball.

Sometimes I just don't think some people on this site think logically before they propose trades, to teams that want cap space. Atlanta wants to have a terrible season, that way they get a great draft pick. They then let Walker sign wherever he wants, spend the money on a free agent, or maybe two, and with the addition of draft choice they don't look so bad.

They will have cash to go out and sign a Michael Redd, Ray Allen, Stro Swift, Dalembert. So they are staying put.

And why would the Warriors trade cap room for Tim Thomas. They can be buyers in the Jason Kidd sweeps.

Sorry- I can't see half those players seriously considering going to a team that is worse than an expansion team. Stro Swift- maybe cause he hasn't cashed in. Dalembert is a RFA, no? and will probably get money from Philly.

These players might be greedy, but many of them are competitors and nothing hurts worse than loosing. The hawks could be on pace to challange for the league record of fewest wins in a season. TT would in theory give them a semi-bonafide player for 1 more year

TT is more frustrating. Charles Smith was humble. TT talks, and plays, like trash.

People were anointing TT the go-to guy a couple of weeks ago. Wow. Talk about fair weather fans. 3 games in and we want him traded, or worse. What if he has 3 good games now. What then?
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

And maybe we would welcome Curry to NY. Who knows...
