I’d be ok with Paul for 2 years. I am not against Ball although he is still inefficient besides shooting 3s. Maybe him and RJ would work well together.

We don’t know if Valdoza even makes team. My take is if he is not in rotation he might not want to languish on the bench. Look at his contract. Draft a PG does not mean he has to play. He can “develop” either on bench or Gleague. With Rose on bench do we sign Conley or Lowrey? Its a “win now” move. Perhaps other things happen that dictate that?
PG is a priority if we are rolling with Randle and RJ intact. All the players listed are situational. What is the direction of the team for the upcoming season? What are the opportunities presented? Thibs does not pick his roster. He is the coach. He coaches what is given to him. He has input no doubt.
Reality is I’d like to see Ball come at a reasonable price and perhaps we get a friendly sign and trade done. Vildoza is the back up, Yes, Rose still comes off the bench. IQ as well at the 2.

Picked Jackson because I think he and Dinwiddie are the most realistic options for us with Jackson getting the edge because he’s better from 3 and doesn’t have Dinwiddie’s injury history
I think Paul and Ball both resign with their current teams

Perhaps they can, I just don't see ball as the downhill player that Thibs prefers.
I don't think CP accepts anything less than a 90 mill.

Some of these guys are not realistic- of course you want Chris Paul, but we can't get him. Devante Graham is an interesting dude. Charlotte has a glut of guys at guard so I think they gotta let him go as an RFA. I think he fills the need at guard which is shooting. Slightly inefficient at Charlotte, but I think would be better in a role here with a player like Randle who can facilitate offense. I dunno what gets it done for someone like him- 4yrs/60mm?

Yeah there’s no way Paul is leaving Phoenix barring a fluke meltdown in the finals

So lets think what motivates CP3? We guessing. He made some overture to NY last year but we don’t know what Presti wanted in return or what else CP3 said outside of wanting to play for a full crowd. Lets also consider he is diplomatic which self serves him. Nothing wrong with that BTW. Motivation? Money? His contact this year and next is massive. WInning? Well he took care of that. He is winning. So why would he come here now? His home base is LA. Its where his son is staying in HS. I did don’t talk to Chris but seems that he played in PHX and the families stayed in LA. Legacy. He keeps this up he is series MVP and moves up in stature. Champions bond with their guys and seek to defend it. I doubt he moves on. If the money is important and it always his he can play for a silly amount next year then go to LA on a discount the year after. He is one injury at his age for being done. I don’t see it, but that don’t mean it isn’t.
Reggie Jax. Great playoffs. Dude is 31 and now we want him because he was on TV a few nights doing great? WE and everyone else cold have had him prior. He is home and thats ice. If its about more money then I don’t want him. The passion he showed is not for money. Balmer wants him they will figure out a longer term deal. OR as Triple suggests some bit coin and a back of the truck mouth breather intern.
Devonte Graham. I think IQ is kind of that player already. Graham is a solid very good role player. Conley. There is our win now player if we going to the old guy Starphuch mode. Give him two year deal. Lowrey. Over rated at the money he has been paid and talked about at his age. Looks like a stumpy and pudgy Paul Pierce. Maybe thats why I’m not thrilled with him. I respect what he has done though. Im good with DRose but not more than one starphuch PG. Lonzo. His dad bothers me. I like his size and if his maturity is there I’d defer to Johnny Bryant seal of approval as to what Lonzo can be, not what he has been. I’d think a trade is how we go but given his RFA status its not going to cost too much. Schroeder. Can he lose the bride of Frankenstein hair thing? I do think he has another level he can reach. A long term deal with the right team and staff he might settle in very nice and calm down. I’m not a pro scout and again I’d defer to the star maker Johnny Bryant to make call here. I’d rather not pay full retail for a guy this age and him not achieved that “Next level”. Perhaps at the right price I take him but I’d rather keep options open and not lock in big cap on him and then have him off the bench. Vildoza is a big wild card here. His contract is modest and basically he has to make the team. My feeling is he can ask for an out and he gets cut and go back to Europe and play and get paid. Outside of the video tapes there is only fandom hope. He is like a pick 3 years ago and was stashed. Anything he brings to the team is a bonus. THe job is his to earn if we go into camp with what we have minus Frank and Payton. Rose starting cannot be plan B. So Vildoza might be a either a starter or 3rd string. If he is 3rd, who is 1st? Not Rose. IQ gets a chance to create? Could be.
Obviously none of the choices are how it plays out. But we can have fun until then!

I think the front office should finish their evaluation on Luca to properly see what the team's point guard needs is. If they think Luca just needs a year or 2 before being given the starting job. Il go after Cp3 if available or Lowrey, conley or Reggie jax. If Luca's ceiling is a high quality back up point guard to replace DRose in a year or two, then i would go after the younger pount guards in the market, Nunn, Lonzo, Graham. Lonzo and Graham both dont drive. I dont want Schroder here. Spencer might be intriguing.
