The Stanford marshmallow experiment was a study on delayed gratification in 1972 led by psychologist Walter Mischel, a professor at Stanford University.[1] In this study, a child was offered a choice between one small but immediate reward, or two small rewards if they waited for a period of time. During this time, the researcher left the room for about 15 minutes and then returned. The reward was either a marshmallow or pretzel stick, depending on the child's preference. In follow-up studies, the researchers found that children who were able to wait longer for the preferred rewards tended to have better life outcomes, as measured by SAT scores,[2] educational attainment,[3] body mass index (BMI),[4] and other life measures.[5]

Which type of fan are you? No right or wrong answer by the way.

Take the marshmallow now! Might have ceiling on potential but love that gooey sweetness!

No guarantee but I’d rather have a plateful of Marshmello’s. I want a legit shot at being a contender!

Abstain: it’s a trick “melo” question.

The type of fan who keeps taking the all you can eat **** sandwhich, lol.

A half eaten pretzel stick would be nice about now. Hopefully the FO is cooking up something even better.

I never cared for marshmallows. But don't ask me to restrain from a bag of Cheetos.

I wish I had seen the Knicks win a championship while my dad was still alive. He was the biggest Knicks fan I knew. My son will probably say the same thing about me later, though at least my dad got to see a couple of championships. Me, I'm starving now so just give some ****ing marshmallows or whatever you got on hand to feed me

Take solace your dad got his in the 70’s. Thats watch I’m hanging on to.
Truth be told chips are great but the pursuit is what matters. The road taken. Maybe this is the start of a new run. We can only hope and time will tell.
Your pop, like many others got front row seats for all eternity!!!! When the Knicks win he will be with you!!!

Had great memories seeing the Knicks at MSG in the championship years with my Dad. But to be honest, the late 80s Knicks, when Mark Jackson took the league by storm "The Bomb Squad". Right through 94' and Derek Harper. Those years mean more to me as a fan.

Bet your Dad enjoyed those years as well.

My dad thought marshmallows were freaking veggies! He load them in his hot chocolate like they belonged in there!
He ate like a stoned teenager. We’d all yell at him. His doctors told him to “Keep doing what your doing!!” He lived until 91.
He’d just grin at us! He was not a sports fan but my mom had a crush on Clyde so he had to watch back in the day! We all crowded around the TV on a Sunday after noon and watch playoff game. Seemingly my memories are vs. the Celtics!

Dont like marshmallows raw, could not stomach "Fluff". But I did enjoy roasting them in the summer. Loved the crust.

I used a 50ft extension cord to watch the 1994 Finals on a little color portable tv while doing yard work to keep the wife happy. I've read Nobody Calls Me Walt 17 times. I played one on one against Clinton Wheeler. And got my azz handed to me. Best memory with my dad was driving up to MSG and meeting him there after work for Debusschere's number retirement game. Seats sucked, but it was a great moment.

Marshmallows are soft.
