![]() Hey :) Thanks for taking the time to answer! I've been doing a fair bit of thinking on the issue of storage, and I have thought about selling.... but many of the items are vintage/quite special to me. I don't know if I could handle selling just yet! My plan is that I may sell them in years to come, but storage feels like the right thing to do now. So New Jersey is cheaper than NYC for this sort of thing? It's funny, if you look here: https://www.boxie24.com/en-us/self-storage-queens, it appears as if that prices in Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn are all exactly the same, which would be $39 per month for a 2' × 5' storage unit. That's about the size/price I'm looking for, so may well go for that. Will do a bit more research on the topic and make a decision next week :D

If you are looking for a fair price nearby I'd just take that offer. I would try whittle your collection down as much as possible though... trust me, I get not wanting to get rid of a 'right piece' and selling stuff is easier said than done, especially when you're attached. I would say have a plan for these things though. Otherwise you might just end up paying for the space for a decade or more... DLeethal wrote:
