The Knicks seem to be set in their starting lineup and most of the main bench guys.

But one roster spot remains. Most expect a Summer League standout to get it but, is Phil setting up for another surprise?

What do you think? Who gets the last spot?

I tend to think it'll be Baker

But I also think Randle will get a camp invite and may make the team over Baker, Plumlee, or even N'Dour

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

Both Baker and Randle could end up in Westchester, which wouldn't be a bad thing if they could lock them up. I'm pulling for Baker to get the last spot tho.

N'Dour's contract is two years fully guaranteed...per Begley.

I've been on the Baker bandwagon for a good amount of time, now. Unless he decides to play in Europe for a year, I think he makes the team.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

I would like to see Baker. My only concern is the amount of rookies filling out the roster. If we have a couple of injuries, we will be relying heavily on undrafted/2nd round picks with no NBA experience.

I thought Baker was a given for the main roster at the beginning, but after the Ndour signing, I have my doubts.

Phil has practically filled most of his needs this summer, to the point that just a few days ago we wanted to get a veteran guard and a backup PF. What do we do? Sign Vujacic and Ndour.

What's next?

It depends on how you see it. If you see Sasha as a SG, then we definitely need a 3rd string PG which is important for Hornacek, because he has talked about how important is to have a good guy backing up the backup of your starting PG as insurance.

Now, if you see Sasha as a PG, we may be set in the position. But what about Center? After Noah, you have Hernangomez and Plumlee. Not much experience. But then you have O'Quinn. Do you consider him a Center? If so, is your only true backup PF Ndour? Do you need another frontcourt piece, this time with experience?

Either way, I wonder if Baker does make it, goes to Westchester or to Europe.

I would sign Dinwiddie and then later assign Baker, Randle and Plumlee to the D League to start the year. This would give us one more slot for a veteran big.

They can't "assign" them to the D-League. They can invite them to the D-League. They'd be free agents free to be signed away to another team at any time.

Not cruel. Just lame. All the guys who keep bringing him up are not the comedians they think they are. There's always that guy at the wedding that tells inappropriate jokes and brings the mood down. With all the positive things going on with this team some guys simply can't bring themselves to say something positive. With all the Pre Free Agency gripeing, this has turned out pretty darned good. Sure there's some areas of concern but overall this has been a good offseason. We're down to guys battling for the final roster spots.
