For all those that will immediately chim in with "we'll never get these guys, so why talk about them", congratulations....you're a douche.

But I'm curious to hear what people think about both prospects. Seems like the consensus is that Ben Simmons is the runaway overall pick given his physical maturity and game but I wonder if it'll translate to the league and result in him having the better career. I also wonder which would be the better fit in the triangle, if we ever ended up with a pick to draft that high.

I think this year's draft class is weak in terms of high end talent

congratulations...youre a douche...

lol....aahhaahahahhahaah

no im capable of not talking about the knicks...and draft picks

ive been saying this for months now: big ben has the physical tools to be an nba player for a long time. depending on what scheme you put in and the roster u put around him; hell either be a nice role player or perennial all star.

with ingram - hell be a scoring SF wherever he goes

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Correct, at least we were lucky enough to have a high pick when the talent was high. This year is about high quality role players after those top couple of guys. Jamal Murray, Buddy Hield, Valentine, etc. Guys that can shoot lights out and are versatile, but might not have star potential.

True, but it is deep at the guard position. Good thing we're set there lol

If you believe that Simmons can play PG than he should be pick 1 or 2. If you dont think hes a PG than he could be player 3-4. I really like that guard Jamal Murray. IF Simmons had anything resembling a 3 point shot it would be a no brainer but you would be taking a player who doesnt have that yet. The basketball scientist in me says think of Simmons as a PG. I like him from there--not as high from any other position accept small ball 5. So thats quite a contrast. Ingram is really good but I can see a lot of 7-17 nights with him as well.

I think you have a top 4 Murray Simmons Brown and Ingram. I dont think you're going to lose on any of them.

Have a lot of doubts about Simmons' game and his character, and how he will take pressure in the NBA.

The guy cannot hit a jump shot, and he clearly has not worked much on his shooting during the season, which is why teams back off on him so much. He's an exciting player with nice court vision on the run, but he will be a detriment without the ball in the NBA because teams won't have to worry about him from the outside.

He has had some success improving his foul shooting, which has been a saving grace for him, but any defender playing him tight on the perimeter is a fool, because his jumper seems to be broken at this point.

I don't see him as a PG...especially on the defensive end, and on offense, once again, teams will lay off and his penetration skills will be marginalized.
