Felton. The exectation for DuDu was he was a stop gap low cost player who could tread water at best. He did his job, not more, not less. We expected him to suck.

Felton Junior year in UNC:

averaged 12.9 points and 6.9 assists per game. In recognition of his efforts, he was voted to the All-ACC First Team that season. Felton also won the Bob Cousy Award that honors the best collegiate point guard.[1] Due to his excellent junior campaign EA Sports awarded Felton the cover of NCAA March Madness 06.

Dude was picked 5th overall.

Under MDA he sort of "resurrected" to some extent before we exiled him in the Melo trade. His decline in Denver and bloated stature in Portland prior to his second tenure gave us another glance at him.

Toney Douglas was awful. At 1st his D made u think he might be useful but over time he just never developed. No passing ability, no court vision, couldn't execute a PnR... On top of that he couldn't even remember plays he was just given!!!

Moochie Norris was pretty bad. Another name that comes to mind is the pt guard Layden brought in from Utah, just can't remember his name.

He did...but they both sucked at that point in their career.

Yeah, Moochie and fat Chris Childs are the worst. I also remember we had some 5'7" guy who made the team with John Starks in the 90s. He was horrible.

And his D is nonexistent now. I don't know how he's still employed. But you're right, Douglas was by far the worst PG we ever had.

Its for those reasons I voted for Duhon. If Felton took his conditioning seriously, he'd be halfway decent. Duhon on the other hand had no redeemable qualities and was awful to watch toward the end. The crazy thing is that D'Antoni wanted him back, which was puzzling to say the least.

Yea ward was old I actually remember people calling for Eisley to start and were happy when he got the job ... I think people were still high on him when he killed us in triple overtime as a member of the Mavs tying the game repeatedly with threes the year before joining the Knicks ... Anyone else remember that game.... Agree du du breath was the worst starting pg I can remember.. He was a 15 min a game player at best

I remember when Eisley and Shandon Anderson came on board,I was thinking Layden is going to sink orswim with his boys from Utah. Man was I wrong both of those guys stunk.

If the choice for worst is between Felton and Duhon, Chris Duhon come forward and accept your prize. The ironic thing is he holds the Knick record for most assist in a game.

Felton had his moments. Duhon simply didn't have the talent! Felton reminds me of NFL running backs. He only had so much in him going as hard as he had to go in order to be effective at the NBA level. Felton is now burnt out IMO. He may start off strong but he won't be able to keep up the effort level needed to succeed. Felton's speed was what helped him in college and early in the NBA but he's not built to be able to sustain that. Felton can't play slow and be effective. Duhon was never really fast so he pretty much played the same even as he aged.

duhon played to expectations as a stopgap. he had the skills d'antoni needed but lacked nba-level athleticism and physique. walsh should have pursued a different point guard than felton as an upgrade. he should have acquired luke ridnour like amare stoudemire wanted.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
